GDT: Semifinal - May 19 - Canada vs Switzerland

So many players just winging it, Eberle, Ekblad, Nurse, Schenn, Vlasic, etc..wayy too many passengers.
 
I think the bench in the 3rd is about to get very short...

A whole lot of hose heads on the Canadian's bench today...

I dunno, I think if Parayko, McDavid, or Barzal flopped the way the swiss have a few times we'd have 3 PP's. If you look for it, there are hooks and holds on every shift.

In NA, if an infraction happens and you fight through it, its a PP every time. In IIHF, if you fight through the infraction, its not a penalty, because obviously if you got hooked you'd have lost the puck battle. Very different mentality.

Bleh, this is a non-issue in this game.
 
I can’t imagine anybody watching McDavid play for like 5 games, and genuinely thinking “yeah, there is at least one other hockey player on planet earth who is not significantly inferior to this guy”.

I think Crosby is on par but he has a different skillset.

Not for long mind you.
 
Gaudreau... typical of talented young players in this tournament from the NHL...

They wonder why they aren't in the NHL playoffs...

They should watch the video of themselves... it would reveal all...
