Russia deserves a ton a credit for this win. They played great.

Sweden couldn't handle the aggressiveness.

This Russian team is awesome.

They have a serious chance against Canada.

At the beginning, when the won against the Danes, i felt they were lousy.
But once they beat Switzerland, i felt they were contenders.

Today's game, and the earliers give me right, they are great.

Congrats Russia! Very strong game, did a fantastic job boxing out the Swedish team. And when Nylander fell apart we couldn't generate anything offensively. Well deserved russian win. Will be interesting to see if Canadas team of junior league players can crack the russian team filled with guys who play in a very strong mens league, and it shows they play a very mature game defensively. Add some skill guys up front and you have a very strong junior squad.
The key for Canada is to get inside the russian d-men and get to rebounds. The russian d-men are strong but not the swiftest feet. Canada need to attack with speed. Very cool match up.

He's the best player on the team. They all deserve blame, but some more than others. This is nothing new in hockey. Look at Eichel.

Pretty ridiculous to hate on Nylander for one game when the whole team looked bad. He's had a good tournament overall.

Really good game from Russia, well deserved win. Really solid through and through. I think they have what it takes to beat Canada, it will be an awesome final for sure.

As for Sweden, not too many positives. I think Hägg had a good game, Wallmark too. Nylander had his worst game of the tournament. They need to get back up on the saddle and bring home a bronze. Most of these guys can play next year too and I expect more from them then.
