This was the best effort by team Russia since the 2011 3rd period of the final game..

Boy oh boh, from being God awful versus Czech to being amazing this game.

First team we defeated Sweden in regulation since forever.
 
Good game Russia. Clearly the better team this game. First USA, now Sweden.

Well done.
 
Must say Sweden got 2 legit goals taken away from them.
How can it be goalie interference when the player is drove into the goalie by a defending player?

I've seen a lot of him since he was 15 y/o. Most stars at this lvl are early bloomers, Nyls is the opposite. He was a very late bloomer, when he was 17 he could have passed as a 14 y /o ...

Physically I don't think he is there. He has been played into the ground this period.

For the haters, Nyls has been awsome this tournament. Doesn't he lead the tournament in scoring? He sucked in this 3rd period, but it seems like some only have seen that one by him ...
 
Weak call!

Anyway, tipping my hat to Russia. They played a perfect game today, disciplined and worked as a team, always back checking and staying in the shot lane.

If Russia plays like this in the GMG I'm making them the slight favorite.
 
Swedish players should've shut up ... proclaiming they were the best team in the tournament haha, well I guess they'll have to settle for bronze. Good job Russia!
 
Swedish fans have nothing to be ashamed of, this Swedish team was one of the weakest in years, however they are still likely to grab Bronze. A superb hockey nation, and Russia still has a lot to learn from their program.

Sweden really should have more than 1 Gold Medal for the last 3 years, 3 straight finals.

Great game from Russia, after the loss to Sweden in the Preliminary Round I called them making the final :laugh:

Yep, almost a flawless game by the Russian team. Best game by a single team in the tournament so far.

I haven't praised him. I agree that he, along with the rest of Sweden, has played poorly.

Using other Leaf fans posts as an excuse to bash a prospect at every turn get is just pathetic, honestly.
