The Slovakians aren't under immense pressure like the Canadians are. If Canada cannot turn on the taps early they could get frustrated and give the Slovaks the bad bounce they need to take the lead.

It still would be surprising, shocking even.

And it's impossible for an upset not to be surprising, isn't it? I mean my knowledge of the English language might be somewhat limited, but surprising does seem to fit with the definition of an upset to me.

I've been reading this WJ thread off and on and keep seeing the same old **** over and over and I just have 2 things to say.

1st. Any one who underestimates any team in a one and done tournament, is setting them selves up for failure ... so I just hope team Canada isn't being as arrogant as some of you guys in here.

2nd. Those of you that keep *****ing about fucale ... it's painfully obvious that you have an agenda on your minds .. our goaltending has been fantastic! Both of em! This whole "this goaltender, or that goaltender scares me" .. well, then grow a set and stop being scared lil *****es!

Anyway, how about cheering for Canada if you are Canadian .. and leave the whining and *****ing for the anti Canada crowd?

I get your point, but:

1) One of the reasons I think Canada wins easily is that they won't take it for granted, and will play as hard as possible. With that attitude, there is no chance for Slovakia.

Other than that I agree. Fucale has been great, the whole team has been great from top to bottom. Lol, even our 4th liners start to dominate the opposition.
