I don't think he dove, I think he simply fell.

The Canada player that fell was as surprised with the call as anyone.

Why did he fall like he had been slewfooted then? Because there was next to no contact made. It's clear he was trying to draw a call.

1st 10 minutes were great....not so much on the second 10.

which I believe is exactly what a few members on this board commented on Canada doing, earlier this afternoon.

Not a very good period from Canada.

DDR line is trying to do too much.

Nurse needs to play a simpler game, also trying to do too much.

Not seeing enough offense from Petan-Paul-Virtanen line.

McDavid line looks good.

Slovakia playing us hard and aggressive.

Slovaks just need to stick within one or even two and try and draw penalties and capitalize there.

I agree but Fucale is not a bad goaltender!

Definitely. He's a good goalie for his age group. Since 2005 though, I can't remember many junior goalies that made it as starting goalies.

Price, Bernier and Mason are the only ones that come to mind that are starting goalies.

Then there are guys like Leland Irving, Justin Pogge, Olivier Roy, Pickard etc.

Backup wise, Tokarski made it to the NHL.

DDR line probably had one of their worst periods. They're trying to be fancy. Get back to playing simple.

Slovaks still gave up lot of good scoring chances.

Canada gave up at least 3 grade A chances as well. Canada of course is being too cute with their plays again (probably because they can), but still, I'd love to see them shoot more.
