Yeah as a fan of the team Jaros/Cehlarik plays for in Sweden i can tell you that Jaros is a monster.

He broke the ribs on a poor guy in juniors here i sweden and i think the guy got punctured lunges aswell.

Yup. All that puck possession with no shots and then the defense are trying to force shots through. It has caused 2 breakaways already.

They're taking what they're being given and that's great, but no one is shooting.

DDR line probably had one of their worst periods. They're trying to be fancy. Get back to playing simple.

Slovaks are really minding their Czechs... err, I mean checks, when DDR is on the ice. They're doing stuff that's worked all tournament, Slovaks are just being more disciplined with defensive posture than prior opponents.

Yeah I saw that. Made me chuckle. It was a period where yes, they gave up a few good chances (which they need to cut down on), but in the end could have easily doubled Slovakia in shots if they actually pulled the trigger.

I would like to see Canada's defence concentrate more on getting their shot through for possible deflections even if the have to take wrist shots instead of just blasting away. Too many are getting blocked.

Slovakia has really bad second periods usually. It all stems from the bench being so far away from our zone.
