I think the officiating has been pretty good compared with the Finland-Sweden game.

I am ok with calls on USA .But a pile of hogwash if they trying to sell it as Russians having been that clean.Tons of hooks.

Really surprised by how bad USA looks in this game. They've been so good all tournament that I thought they'd cruise past Russia and even beat us quite handily in the finals. Anything could still happen of course, but right now Russia is looking like the real threat.

I was starting to wonder where Korshkov's head was, but he was a monster in the 2nd period. His goal was a thing of beauty. I hope that line can keep going, and that the Kamenev line adds some offense as well. The USA has so many slick goal scorers that they have to stay all over them at all times. Can't let up for a breath!

Jussi might be closer to truth than many expect when he says matthews losing the #1 spot in this. But I don't think his just gonna lose it. Still, how they play does affect, why would GM's have very early locks, their job is to make the best piks.
