Should be a crappy Bronze Medal game. Gonna be two very disappointed teams playing in it.

It's really weird: we have a low-key Russia and a flamboyant Finland tomorrow... The world turned upside down. Have really no idea how it will go, but these two are obviously the best teams of the tournament.

The States are "too good" for bronze medal games.
(remember the last olympics)
They'll lose by five or six goals....

All that talk about weaker group B was a bunch of garbage. Group A might have been stronger 1 through 5. But the top 2 teams in group B definitely deserve to be playing for gold.
Good luck to Russia and Finland tomorrow, it should be an exciting game.
I expected a Sweden-USA final, as I imagine many did. So yeah, both teams will be pretty downtrodden.
Swedes will value a bronze more though, so I would predict a 5-2 Sweden win.
Why do you guys think Sweden Value a bronz more than USA?
In the point of view you never win a silver or bronz you just lose a gold.

Definitely Wilson set the tone for this game by underestimating Russia, seems like a shortsighted move by supposedly an experienced NHL coach. Even of you think that, don't give your team a reason to underestimate

Its not good for a country an it's people to have that mentality. What happens when a world crisis or economic crisis happens. Also it is the players saying thanks for the country providing funding for their development. Also think of all the families involved, they want their kids to play to the best of their capabilities. People and athletes need to unite and believe in their cause.
Do the SHL and other Swedish leagues have bronze games in the playoffs like we do in Finland? I think that's part of why at least the Finnish teams care more about "winning a medal" than the NA teams for example. It's part of the culture.
