Props again to all the Finns who have pulled several all nighters to watch and support this tournament.

You guys are a true hockey power and you should be very proud of the way your team played.

No shame in the heart and sisu those kids showed tonight. Thanks for the great game and effort it was good to watch. Having hockey is giving many us some sense of normalcy and community in a messed up year, so thankful to have this tournament this year. In a weird way it provides hope that normalcy is around the corner.

We’ll be out for Yankee blood for you tomorrow, best of luck against Russia.

Yeah throughout the tournament we didn't even want to try Blomqvist who was great for Kärpät. I'm a Kärpät homer though but I was really surprised that Piiroinen was the automatic #1 for us.

I mean Zegras, the guy I've got a rooted interest in, has had his share of defensive gaffes. That play wasn't great but it doesn't take away from the rest of Turcotte's night.

Watching that goal again, can't help but think that if Kaliyev didn't take an eternity to get to the point then the blueliner wouldn't have had so much time to pick out that soft pass down low. Any kind of pressure at the point there likely spares that goal. Then Kaliyev goes all Kaliyev and picks the corner of the corner...

I feel like canada is going to dismantle the US this time. The US defense isnt very good. The York pairing is the only dependable one and they were bad tonight. That canadian offense is going to bear down on them every shift and i dont think they can handle it.

Im thinking 6 or 7 to 0. Maybe the zegras line gets a goal.

You need the ref help to make it 8 or 9 to 0. That only Zegras line goal will be disallowed, don't have to worry.
