Well if they don't concede another goal on this PK we can hope for some game management from the refs...
I don't think the group they were in did them any favours in this regard.Sweden not used this tempo
Yep, but Miftakhov has been good, not sure why they are pushing it with the young guy when he's been shaky.Lol @ everyone chirping Askarov. Even good players have bad games. Especially juniors can be shaky.
There is obviously a reason hes expected to go high in a good draft later this year, even if he hasnt showed it this game so far.
That's what i was thinking.Russians seem vulnerable in the D zone, if Sweden can get out of this Russian presure, possibilities to tie the game will come.
He has a really bad tournament, but this does not mean he is a worse prospect now. We will see in 2 years how good or bad he will be.He got a ton of helium to his draft rankings based off the U-18 tournament that he absolutely dominated.
He is senile since long ago, don't worry.Bob McKenzie says Hoglander was acting from a defensive position
Need to not play on the PK first. Alnefelt hasn't played well either anyway. If I'm swedish coach I'm screaming in the locker room about shooting at Askarov from any position. He's ****in awful.
Yeah, but you couldn't see what Sweden could do after 2 power play goals and a goalie mistake goal. I clearly see what they can do. Get more disciplined and don't gamble on risky plays. That goes without saying but they have even bigger issues I think.
This is a damn good Russian team.
Yep, but Miftakhov has been good, not sure why they are pushing it with the young guy when he's been shaky.
Alnefelt has at least fought off a couple of difficult shots. Askarov has no business being on the ice today at all.Need to not play on the PK first. Alnefelt hasn't played well either anyway.
Miftakhov made one mistake against US. Otherwise, he's been great.Miftakhov had an equally awful game earlier into the tournament. Think it was against the US?![]()
If not that stupid penalty from Romanov... First stupid play from him at the tournament, and in the semifinal. Oh, well, he's 19 year old, even if his game looks way more mature in the whole.
Probably still bitter after the Russians beat up Canada in the round robine. Typical TSN homerism towards Team Canada.Does the entire TSN broadcast team need to cheer for the Swedes this much?
+. That's why I'm so butth*rt. In complete control for the whole period and the goalie almost killed the team.tbh russia is clearly the better team, Sweden lucky to be in the game.
