Probs an unpopular opinion, but in my honest opinion. After the first 5 the Finns were very good. Just put the puck in the met from a few great chances they’ve had and it’s a whole new hockey game.

After the first 5 Canada hasn’t been anything special, seems like they were too comfortable with 3-0.

They did score another goal.

I wanted the Oilers to draft this guy. Mostly because of how similar his name is to Connor McDavid, but wow is he ever going to be a player

Great period for Canada, it will be tough for Finland to come back. They have a lot of talent though so if we don't keep playing our game they could definitely make a game of it.

Finland has given up 4 goals in 18 minutes and haven't even been playing the same sport as Canada today.

I expected more from this game

I was very careful to hope more from Annunen as I knew it was going to be impossible to win against a team that takes full advantage of the horrible defense the team has played most of the tourney

Exactly.. they actually didn't play bad at all. I don't blame the goalie either. Canada just kept converting on beautiful plays. Finns had some good looks and over 10 shots.

Finland had some disasters and Canada scored on almost all of them, but overall it did not look bad.

hate these types of games especially when it is your team that goes up by the 4, they fall asleep and play out the string for two periods, sometimes the other team makes a game of it and sometimes not, either way it's a pain

To be fair the high stick doesn't hapoen if the finn player didn't shoot the puck after the whistle.

Are you sure the player heard the whistle. Nothing in his body language or expressions tells me he did.
