Friedman and SN crew also scratching their heads about penalty calls. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. This season the officiating was atrocious and it continues.

He just sucked with the Hawks.

His effort was not exactly good with Hawks so he has plenty of blame to take in situation

Also he has actual NHL coach and good players around him in Carolina so it isn't surprising his performance has ticked up somewhat
