How many 2nd line centers does Nashville need? Doesn't old man Ribiero fill that role nicely for now? Couldn't Jarnkrok step up if needed?

And you realize that people are going to be asking for your defensemen for a center right? Be prepared for a lot of "I'd send you x for Ekholm" proposals.

Not sure if he's capable of 55 points, but TB's Vlad Namestnikov needs more opportunity. With a good offense and solid icetime, 55 is possible.

Low risk, high reward. TB is overflowing with centers.

Spooner for Ekholm, with additional pieces to balance it out if needed.
Spooner is young, can drive your PP and absolutely will score 55 if given proper TOI.

Kadri is too important to the leafs right now. Maybe in a few years, but he is our shutdown guy playing all the bs minutes that let us shelter our youth against matching up against the stars of the NHL.. and he's actaully good at it.

over 60% on the draw, over 60% corsi and mostly D zone starts.

The real question isn't what you are looking for but what you will pay for it. Kadri seems like a great fit but not trading him him picks and low end prospects.

55 points is a high end 2nd line C.

Unless it's a rental expect to give a good piece.

Nashville's offense looks pretty sick though (at least from an outsider's view). Isn't Neal playing second line? Lots of puckmoving defensemen. I think 55 is a reasonable target for an average 2C to hit in Nashville.

Someone like RNH would, IMO, top 60 points there. Kadri feels like he'd be a good fit to me. Probably 50+ points, while bringing an edge with him.

Over 60% on the draw? :shakehead
I mean
He has a career FOW of 46%, with a slight upwards tendency (49% last season)
So he won some draws in first 3 games and now he is a 60%+ FOW and 60%+ Corsi player.

I agree he would be a great fit but you'll need to pay the price. We have him playing a crucial role right now.

Tyler Bozak reliably hits 50 points or plays at a 50 point pace every season and is probably the most available Leaf on the roster.

Ya those #'s aren't really sustainable but the point still stands. He is being matched up against the toughest competition to ease Matthews and Nylander into the league. He gets the toughest assignments on the team and we don't really have anyone who can fill that role right now. Not saying I wouldn't trade him but it would have to be a good hockey deal to even think about.

Tyler Bozak didn't hit 50 points even once in his entire career even when playing first line with Kessel. What is up with you Toronto fans simply lying about your player stats?

Not a Nashville fan--just an outsider.

TB fan. Namestnikov would be cheap(ish). We'd want the equivalent of a low 1st for him. Or a contributing player on an ELC.

I think it definitely depends what Nashville would be willing to pay. Kadri would be more of a sure thing, but more expensive. Namestnikov would cost them barely anything, but he's at a point in his career where he could be hit or miss.
