Roster move: Activated TE Dawson Knox from Injured Reserve and released LB AJ Klein.

It will be interesting to see what Brady does with him and Kincaid. Hopefully he doesn't overthink it and the better receiving talent has more targets.

I mean, down the strech, we have to root for the:

Jets Houston, @Miami, Washington, @Cleveland, NE
Titans: @Miami, Houston, Seattle, @Houston, Jacksonville
Bengals: Colts, Vikings, @Steelers, @Chiefs, Cleveland (root for the chiefs and vikings in the other weeks)

I honestly wouldn't be suprised to see the Jets be the biggest helpers. Their defense is still elite. I could see them winning 2 out of Houston, @Miami, @Cleveland.

I’m at a hockey tournament and won’t have time to read. Anyone able to summarize the Dunne article, and who said what? Thanks
There's 25 anonymous sources, so we don't know who said what. Given his relationship with Dunne, we can guess McKenzie is probably one of them.

The gist of the article is the story of someone who has trouble connecting with his players. There's awkward tales (using 9/11 or drowning victims as analogies). There's purported jealousy (of when the WRs bought Hall a car). Then there's some stories that just seem petty (McDermott claims he sometimes stays all night at the office, an assistant claims he's never been there past 3am). It's one sided and quotes clearly weren't solicited from those that like McDermott, but that was the point. It's really too long to summarize.

The timing of vonnie and McD are "perfect ". Only man , timing of stuff from talmud crew, executes perfect

I find it difficult to imagine not being able to write any story if you already have the point of the article and your strong opinion and you go collect anonymous sources. It’s working backwards.

I have issues with McDermott. I could live with us moving past him. But the rhetoric from the article isn’t why

At that point, it's not a story. It's an opinion based article, which is not journalism.

But getting back to the WC race, it looks like the Steelers' TJ Watt is now in concussion protocol. Their next game is Saturday, against the Colts.

The piece is thorough, damning and not entirely surprising.

Essentially, McDermott is:
  1. Tight, which permeates throughout the team and yields paralyzed decision making,
  2. Awkward/Insecure,
  3. Fails to take accountability, and
  4. Micromanages.
There are a host of specific examples for each attribute which paint a dreary work environment. There are also examples which contrast McDermott’s approach with other coaches such as Dan Campbell, Mike McDaniel and Brian Daboll.

That said, several former players such as Patrick DiMarco, Lee Smith, Isaiah McKenzie and Taiwan Jones praised McDermott. Moreover, Beane receives substantial compliments.

While they don’t have much of a relationship currently, the piece predicts that ultimately there will be a showdown between McDermott and Josh.

I recommend the article, although I fear that it substantiates certain concerns that many suspected.

If Jacksonville and New York (Jets) could find a way to steal these games, that'd be great.

EDIT: God damn it, Cinci'!

Zach Wilson having himself a game right now, Bengals are back in control. Jags still need to get their heads out of their ass, but it'll be a one score game after this review.

As awesome as it would be for everything to work in the Bills' favor all the time, I'm happy just to see more things work in the Bills' favor than nothing at all. But none of this matters if they don't beat the Chiefs.

If the results of this afternoon hold, the Bills will have a 38% chance of making the playoffs if they win... and an 11% chance if they lose (according to the NY Times playoff simulator.)

They cannot afford a loss right now. Not that anyone here needs to be reminded of the fact.

CJ Stroud is apparently in concussion protocol after his head hit the turf. Texans twitter says he's questionable to return.

EDIT: Jets and Colts have their games on lockdown. Jags could make a comeback.

“They’ve lost three games while leading with a minute to go”

Should have clapped harder
