Dorsey’d
You know, this thing that makes the offence appear to function in a threatening manner, lets not plan to use it this week, we will save it for when we are losing and need some points, yeah, that's how we will prepare because we are offensive geniuses!
I have to think the video guy said it was definitely 100% a catch or something. That's the only way you can challenge that there. It's absolutely a bad challenge from a coach who's game management is usually spot on.Also, that challenge was so so so dumb. It was a completion that was for a few yards and not even enough to get the first down. That was in no way worth risking a timeout.
The fact is was a 50/50 call make sir even more mind boggling. And I rarely bitch about challenges. I think McDermott is actually fine at them.
This one was a really poor decision given the context
They weren’t really putting that much pressure on Allen. No reason to abandon short passing.Explain to him that they’re dropping 7 into coverage and getting there with 4.

So, Cincinnati dominated time of possession, and you want them to go faster?
Folks, the offense works when Dorsey dials up short passing and lets receiver run a little bit. That should be the staple. The short passing to Kincaid is about the be unstoppable.
The short passing opens up runs and deeper passes. The TD to Diggs is how it works.
I’ve written this so many times that I should put in my notes app and just paste it in. The scheme stretches the field horizontally and the QB stretches the field vertically.
We watch Burrow and Mahomes operate effective WC HT offenses, and then scream about needing another receiver and Allen being held back. The Chiefs have average receivers, and Burrow happily carves up defenses with short timing passes.
(Hint: it’s the offensive scheme not the players)
It won't matter if 17 won't listen. We need Bill Walsh
Zero chance they resign Gabe.Cannot wait for Beane to re-sign Davis to a 4 year/65 million dollar deal. And I'm going to keep yelling for a Mike Evans move. Guy is an active first ballot HoFer who is still a top 10 WR. You know what you get with Evans? GUARANTEED 1000+ yards and numerous clutch catches and TDs. With Davis you get 1-2 monster games a few mediocre ones and numerous garbage zero production games.
With the 49ers on a three game losing streak, now is not a great time to talk up CMC as MVP.How about CMC?
They absolutely cannot ... it's time to draft the eventual Diggs replacement and let them play together for a few years. Shakir and Kincaid are core pieces moving forward. It'll be time to cut bait on Davis, Knox and a few of the older pieces on defense. They need to re-tool on the fly here, somewhat like Kansas City did a few years ago and rebuilt their defense with young talent.Zero chance they resign Gabe.

draft, trade, FA and/or "perhaps" Shorter is developing on the practice squad and could be your big WR target. After yesterday, I am firmly of the belief that Beane is going to walk away from Davis this off-season the same way he did Tremaine, and rely on some combination of Kincaid and Shakir to replace his production instead.
And I don't think Beane's the only one losing trust in Davis:
Shakir (last three games): 14 targets, 14 receptions, 184 yards
Kincaid (last three games): 26 targets, 23 receptions, 221 yards, 1TD
Davis (last three games): 19 targets, 10 receptions, 93 yards, 1TD
