The Panthers have a couple of decent starting CBs they probably wouldn't trade Horn though.

No. Players on IR still count against the cap.

Difficult to envision a scenario where they are able to trade for a CB1 however if they want to add a CB there may be options out there who are better than current players on the practice squad.

Agreed on the 4pm slot. To be fair, the SNF game looked much different and much more anticipated when the schedule was released. Especially for the NFL PR machine. Rodgers in NY vs Mahomes is a NFL marketing exec’s dream scenario.
