Well it's an old defense for sure but OEL was part of the cup shampion top 6 and Tanev was part of a cup semi finalist top 6. 3rd pairing sucks though.

You're right but OEL was playing on the 3rd pairing in Florida and Tanev was on the 2nd pairing in Dallas so Toronto are basically asking them to play on the 1st and 2nd pairing, let's see if that work.
