What bothers me the most in this start of the season is we play the Leafs/Bruins/Ott to start. Even if we go 12-70 this season, I would very like to start with a 3-0 record.

So is Stolarz going to be better or worst then when he was with the Panthers?

I expect us to have a terrible start of the year. Bad trainning camp, best players barely had any good reps. We gonna get killed.

Still, GHG!!

Hopefully no injuries!
Yeah. It's tough to imagine this team is ready. I hope they surprise us but I have little hope.

How do Habs typically do against a backup who on paper they should be lighting up? Don't answer that... it's a rhetorical question.

Sorry, answering!

From what I found online, Stolarz record against the Habs:
3W-1L
898 sv%
13 GA
3.19 GAA (4-1-3-5 goals allowed, 3-5 were the 2024 games)

MSL's shelf life starts tonight. There has been no criticism during the past 3 years during the "rebuild". While the rebuild isn't over it is time for this team to start showing something tangible.
Based on the line up tonight this team appears bottom 8 in the league.
One thing I can predict is that I am probably not going to watch...I have no interest in this team. I am just tired of the mediocrity.

Enjoy the game!

Instant Beast Mode ON material right there.

Unless he gets tossed. :skeptic:
Nah he will be slick about it, do it during a faceoff or something.

Never gets old 😀

I had season tickets in the reds that year. I remember debating selling tickets for this game because back then a Toronto-Montreal game could sell for $3000 a pair. I ended up keeping them and going with my cousin, we got to see this live and up close, right in front of us. Probably my favorite ever moment at the BC.
