Problem with Fiala in OT, there are 2 fewer teammates to cover for his gaffes

This OT was brutal to watch. Blue Jackets had no problem Taking the puck to the net too easy consistently. Kings were just standing around not moving much.

I don't have any stats to prove it, but it feels like the team that scores the late game tying goal more often than not loses in OT.

Really sick of Fiala, he's this years Dubois as far as being beyond frustrating to watch. He needs to go ASAP, trade his ass for a bag of pucks already. Over stick handled on the disallowed goal, dove in OT, and was easily beaten like a mule on the winner.

The two things I did not like this game was the perimeter power play and Columbus getting 27 minutes to figure out if they wanted to challenge that offside.

I love Kopitar but Turcotte and Kempe seem to be too fast for him lately. Would like to see Byfield start between the two.

Kings outplayed them by a wide margin but had nothing in overtime. If they had some goal scorers thats an easy win in regulation. Blake is going to have to make some tough decisions on who goes in order to bring in the needed pieces. It is unrealistic to think just adding a tweener winger with whatever capspace they have is going to be the difference.

He’s a good player, just not for the Kings. I don’t think any high scoring player is gonna adapt well with the Kings. They’re just too defensive focused. Look at the power play, they don’t know wtf to do with the puck. Surprised they even scored on the 6-on-5

Their PP is a f***ing joke and having Fiala out for both units is an atrocity. I've never seen a player make more useless and unnecessary stick handles in my life. He's easily the worst defensive player on the Kings right now.

Moving those guys would be the tough decision for Blake I was talking about. He could also approach Fiala and Gavrikov about waiving.

He is flying out there a lot lately just not able to finish. And his defensive ability is top notch already. You dont trade a guy his age that could break out. Theyd regret for a long time. I dont think theres any chance they trade him.
