Inferiority complex.

I don't know if it's that. It's more monkey see monkey do. They just do it because everyone else is doing it and don't ask why. It's kind of cute to see teams we have no history with like Anaheim or San Jose get all bothered when we play them.
You can't blame Canadian regionalism or "HNIC used to be Leafcentric" if you come from some of those markets.
In the end it only produces more attention on every single thing going on with us. If you really want the Leafs to go away just ignore us.

Toronto is the same, if not louder than Buffalo.

The few times i went to Buffalo were my favorites as you get a lot of the real Leaf fans come out and sell out half the building that vould be ehy i found it quite louder in there. Now playoffs at the ACC are fantastic

My new hate. Overly loud goal horns. I'm watching at 2:30 in the night here, which is normally fine. But every time there's a goal, I pretty much have to mute the TV so I won't be ax-murdered by my neighbors.

Not a problem with every arena, but some are hopeless.

Calgary and Edmonton are probably the quietest buildings in the NHL followed by Toronto and Vancouver. Just too many sober fans.
