Annoying to see these NCAA players able to burn the first year of their ELCs. Ideally he would have started in the AHL. Now the team will have to send back to Laval somebody else that worked hard the whole year.
Just the price of doing business with players who take the NCAA route, unless they decide to go into free agency.

He looks very good . I think he will soon be a good middle six player for us .

If we can land pick 1-2-3 or 4 at the draft by winning the lottery, our team will be in a good position soon

Not me. Farrell would replace a first. Or include a lesser prospect or Harris or Evans.

What type of player does he remind you of? I haven't followed prospects in years; it certainly appears it would have been a good one with the success they are having. He has some pretty nice stats but he's a smallish forward. I do have to admit I am less concerned seeing a bunch of undersized NHLers having success these days. He must be a shifty player with good vision. Who does he play with? I would keep him and Caufield off the same line. Maybe with Dach?

What's the story behind Harvard? Harris and Farrell played together last year?

No, Harris and Struble played together.

They have limited roster spots. They will need to send somebody down to comply. Simple.

No they don't. Both are playing great, they paid their dues. It would be awful to send one of them down to make space for Farrell.

Someone's going to be sent down to help out Laval. Has to be Ylonen or RHP.

There is no roster limit after the trade deadline, no one is getting sent down until the season is over. They have 27 guys on the roster right now.

Lots of room….

For now we have for big forwards…..

Dach
Anderson
Gurianov
Slafkovski

Hypothetically we sign Dubois and draft Fantilli

Then you have the not “big” but Solid Suzuki

So 7 of the top 9 guys are lets say no pushovers, they can dominate the ice of their choosing.

I’m easily fitting in one of the most lethal shooters in the league in Caufield and there’s one more spot for a smaller player with fight and vision and that’s Farrell or RHP.

As long as those smaller players are well insulated, it’s not an issue….
Our future defence is looking pretty big too, outside of Hutson. I'm less worried about size with forwards.
