I love when people are critical of stars when someone like Avery has already been more successful in a short period of his life than you will ever be in a lifetime.

I love it when people are such fanboys of a complete ******* that they resort to stuff like this.

Yes, its true, I never played in the NHL -- other than that, Im pretty sure Im more successful than Avery from a career standpoint.

What does this have to do with fanboy? I don't care if he's in the team or not. But he's allowed to follow what makes him happy. Just because you think he threw his life away because he left the NHL doesn't mean he did. And it doesn't make him any less successful .

And yes, making the millions he made does help.

I'm not an Avery fanboy by any means.

I just think it's important to maintain the big picture. The big picture is that you are criticizing the success of a person who has been more successful in his lifetime than you could ever dream of.

Avery in this case is just one example of what some people cry about. Same goes for the criticism of different artists, or other sports stars. Usually it's rooted in some sort of jealousy.
