He's still a kid. First round picks are so overrated it was worth getting a guy who was once a top 50 prospect on a lot of rankings. If we gave up a top 15 pick I'd be upset but where we're picking now it's a complete guess as to what we would get.

I think the Dallas coaches got through to Hakanpaa for this game. He's been soft all playoffs and this game he's been noticeably more physical. He had the one horrible pass to nobody earlier but other than that it's been his best game in a while.

I would imagine that Harley being one of the best overall defensemen in the AHL for almost a full season was a huge boon for his on-ice confidence.

He's easily one of our best 4 defenders right now.

Yeah, not to mention we made the playoffs in a high seed, so his presence during the season wouldn't have changed much, if anything.
