I gave up on Westworld during Season 3. That was horrendous.

Seasons 1 and 2 are great though.

Really enjoyed S1 & S2. I persisted through S3 but it was a definite step down, and sidelining Jeffrey Wright for most of it in exchange for a ripoff Terminator action plot was certainly a choice. I'm 3 episodes into S4, and as always there are some good things, but I've grown quite tired of it. I don't care about Aaron Paul's character, I love Thandiwe but she's got to be bored of playing Maeve by now and I don't see where else they can take the character, I don't know what / who Evan Rachel Wood is at the moment but that plot line is dragging, and once again, Jeffrey Wright is under-utilized. The show only really pops anymore when Wright, Thompson, or Harris are on screen.

I'll keep watching just to wrap it all up, but it looks like it's going to be a bit of a chore.

i am not sure i fully agree with Owen being a MAry Sue..he gets his ass handed to him enough..what he does have though is super plot armor

i would though like for LC to write about someone else...we've had an Earl book and a Julie book..gimme a Milo book or hell...Ed and Skippy adventures

Spoilers! I’m on the earl book.
He kinda is, even though LC hits you over the head with how much training Owens dad put him through, he is always able to fight through any pain AND sprint balls ass out for long distances while being 300lbs, and has an insane amount of plot armor.

Watch the first episode of the Rings Of Power. Obviously the production value is pretty high and you can see the large gap between it and say Wheel Of Time also on Amazon just from a visual standpoint.

It certainly is a large contrast between the elves from the films and how they're presented in the series here... Like an attempt to demystify the elves and make them more 'human' in their actions, motives, desires, etc...

I just watched a clip of someone running up a sword like it was crouching tiger hidden dragon then single handedly take out a big bad guy that took out a half dozen good guys, while the wire fighter watched first instead of helping out.

No, not particularly. The closest thing to it is classical mythology.
But but Legolas (why’s my phone autocorrect that??) skateboards down an elephant trunk (or railing?)
