I started loading my meals with black pepper because I have read it is great for the heart and mineral absorption.
I legit am growing chest hair now for the first time at 32. I don’t know if it was the pepper but it’s pretty cool for me
Edit: also shoulder hair which is less cool
Gained 3 inches too? LOL

I am streaming tonight's game via the crappy Sportsnet app, any tips on syncing to 630 Ched to hear Jack Michael's call the game?

Im trying so hard to get up for tonights game but man I feel like shit. I've been coming down off an SSRI since the end of May and each day is getting worse with how I feel, usually its just my head feelings like its floating, but today my heart rate is 100 doing nothing, I feel like passing out and have a massive headache. I've checked and re checked my blood pressure all day it's consistently 115/85 give or take a few numbers. Why could this game be yesterday when I felt mostly normal.

I turned 50 yesterday. Born and raised Edmontonian, been a fan my whole life. I believe this is one of the biggest games in NHL history. All this talk of wanting a close game, OT etc. Screw that...Connor has already cemented himself as one of the best ever and his legacy continues to grow. Can you imagine if he came out and put up another 4 pts...or even flirt with Waynes record......

There are so many story lines to our run, SO MANY!

I want the players to succeed, I want the Oilers to succeed, I want the fans to succeed, I want the city to succeed.

C'mon boys, one more win!!!

I hope that you feel better. Did you come off of it slowly? Hopefully the boys pull off the W and life becomes more normalized for you.

Do we have more swedes?

From a racist perspective if we have more Canadians and swedes we win.

We win. We score more goals we win. That's it. See you next time.

Hopefully the boys have the same mindset as they've had the last three, they're playing with house money. Feeling loose and playing tight, smart hockey.

If our guys don't cheat coming out of the defensive zone we have this one.
They have to play the way they've continued to play for sure. The players have all been saying the same thing every game and haven't changed their approach and shown it these last 3 games. Skinner has to be good and then we have to hope McDavid and Co do the things that got them this far. Continued lights out PK and maybe score a PP goal or two would be huge. But the biggest is who scores first. First goal is massive. Would suck if Florida gets 3 on 10 shots or something and is leading 3-0 after the first.

I'd love to say that I have a lot of confidence, but I just don't. This is the first game where the Oilers can win the cup, which brings a whole other level of stress, emotions and pressure. Florida has dealt with all this stuff for 3 games already, and will be used to it. Experience matters. Combine that with the % chance of winning 4 in a row in the cup final, and I don't have good feelings about our chances at all.
Thanks, Buzz Killington.

Seravalli is on Oilers now. He predicts the building will be 40%+ Oiler fans due to what he's seeing down there. Says he was hearing lets go Oiler chants in the mall he went to in Florida.
I read that as well. A ton of Panthers fans (let's be honest they aren't real fans if they are selling) were selling their tickets online and Oil fans have been scooping them up it looks like.

Fair, having the best player on the planet playing at a legendary level might tip things though, you know ;)

I'm sitting at work for another 2 hours. Currently on my break and was just thinking the same thing. Glad I came in for a 1/2 shift. Keeps my nerves somewhat in check. For now.
I don't even know if I can watch the whole thing. I might just do something else while the game is on to calm myself down as I get pretty bad anxiety in general. Because honestly, I don't really care about the first or second. It's the third and what the score is at that point. That's where it really matters.
