To risk heartbreak is what it means to love.

Drag the cup back to Alberta. For Colby. For Joey. For Ben.

I am 60 and still like RNH. No hair on my chest and very little on my legs. A pack of razors last me a year. I don't sweat usually but I was sweating a few times in the finals. Just didn't want a sweep.
Hope Draisaitl and McDavid are going full tilt tonight
I started loading my meals with black pepper because I have read it is great for the heart and mineral absorption.
I legit am growing chest hair now for the first time at 32. I don’t know if it was the pepper but it’s pretty cool for me
Edit: also shoulder hair which is less cool

I'd love to say that I have a lot of confidence, but I just don't. This is the first game where the Oilers can win the cup, which brings a whole other level of stress, emotions and pressure. Florida has dealt with all this stuff for 3 games already, and will be used to it. Experience matters. Combine that with the % chance of winning 4 in a row in the cup final, and I don't have good feelings about our chances at all.

The last Finals game that Florida played that they could be eliminated in, they were dominated 9-3.

We'll see what happens tonight

Over the last three years the Oilers are 6-0 when they have an opportunity to eliminate their opponent. They have the killer instinct.

Been waiting my entire life for this one. I was in grade 5 for the 06 run and I still remember my disappointment, and then it was the Decade of Darkness for the formative years of my life. At times I honestly never thought I'd ever get to see the Oilers play a playoff game again, let alone be in this position. There's nothing I want more in my life than to see the Oilers win the Stanley Cup, and I truly believe they're going to do it tonight.

Let's go Oilers!
You have written out my exact thoughts. LFG OILERS

Fun fact... 15 years ago, almost to the day, Connor McDavid was drafted, in this very arena..

I don't think any kid imagines anyone but themselves scoring the game 7 OT goal.
I find that there's an inflection point of being a "casual" player that is all "I'm Mario!" "I'm Wayne!" when growing up.

Once you start to really perform, it moves from pretending to be someone else to imagining it's you. I went through it with basketball where I was Jordan and whatnot, and once I started getting good at basketball then it became "this is me" hahaha

Its probably stupid but I'm sure more than a few share this same sentiment. This means a lot to me, I personally want to see each of my teams win a championship in my life time (and remember it). It's irrational but it would mean so much as a sports fan. I take it way too serious.

You just don't know when or if your team will get back to a chance like this.

I'm nervous as all hell.

I don't know how you guys take the day off. Work is the only relief from the stress.
