According to this article Kings are on 13 times

WINNER: California. The Pacific Division is ruled right now by the three California teams, and unsurprisingly, NBC wants to showcase a lot of that hockey. The trio will appear a combined 33 times. Plus, not only are the Sharks and Kings arguably the big draw on opening night, but NBC is going to that well four times over the season, as many as the Battle of Pennsylvania, Red Wings-Bruins and Blackhawks-Blues.

That article portrays national broadcasts very differently than how most fans feel about them. Personally, I hate them.

So we get to hear the Sharks PBP guys 4 times on the national broadcast, including most likely the raising of the banner game...can't wait.:shakehead

Nothing more exciting in sports than an OT win to clinch the SC. NOTHING!

For sure! I can still watch the Jason Arnott Cup clincher 14 years later and it'll still bring a smile to my face. Martinez's goal also had the bonus of being on home ice. Last year's run was one for the ages. I'm probably going to get a few of the DVDs to give as holiday gifts to friends.

I kinda think Foxie ruined Jim's call a bit on that GWG. He's howling like a little girl and poor Bob can't get a word in.

Gotta say I think you are wrong ... Jim Fox just showing how passionate and emotional he is and still gets over this team is one of the things that endears him to many fans, he wears it on his sleeve and there's nothing wrong with that as long as it doesn't turn into over the top homerism like the likes of a Brian Hayward :p:

I have no problem with Fox getting 'emotional', but not at the expense of ruining Bob's call.

Check out Nickson's call:

Not a peep from Evans, which is awesome.....Nick with an amazing job as usual.

The difference is with Bob's call, you don't hear the crowd as much or the horn, that's probably why you think Nick's call is better. Yeah, I want to hear the crowd as well, but that has nothing to do with Foxy.

Here's the difference, Nickson's and Evans' call was for a formal broadcast. Bob's and Jim's call was purely for Kings fans consumption, just like the 2012 call. It wasn't a formal broadcast and as such, I'm glad Jim went nuts. There isn't a fan out there who loves the Kings more than that man and if he wants to act just like I did as the play unfolded, it makes me like him even more. I listen to that call repeatedly not for Bob's call, but for Jim's unadulterated excitement.

Jim and Daryl are completely different personalities as well. If anyone watched the videos of the 2012 Cup clinching game, as it ends, Daryl is completely composed and calm and Jim is crying his eyes out.

Actually, he pushes these guys...considering the Rangers were down 2-0 at this point in games, not really that bad.

The Ranger fans were much worse in Staples than this crap.
