If my grandma had wheels she'd be a bicycle. If Leafs were playing tonight the Cap would be up an extra million next year. Not to mention there would be a game 6.

Don't disagree, but it's clear now this Florida team was able to goon its way past vastly superior teams.if the panthers beat the leafs, almost a sweep too, imagine how bad vegas would have destroyed them. Leafs are too soft for the playoffs.
Sure, I agree.Close, as with Anaheim/Ottawa but I think overall, especially considering the series closing game this one will rank worse.
It's just never felt even remotely competitive outside of a few moments.
So how many games should they play to factor out luck?? 100 game series is enough? Or 1000? Listen you can keep making excuses for losses but that's loser talk.
Yeah the ratings of CNBC might be higher tonight than this game.If Leafs were playing tonight the Cap would be up an extra million next year. Not to mention there would be a game 6.
Going to be some party tonight in Vegas
Y'all played a good series, jokes are going to be just thatIt literally was nearly 6 games of hockey, that's how much OT they played.
Canes heavily dominated long stretches of those games. Florida got the goaltending and Matt Tkachuk legacy-making goals. It's hockey, it happens. I'm not even mad, this is what we sign up for when we follow this sport. But acting like the series was a big blowout is nonsense.
i mean they showed that they cared battling their way to the final as an 8th seed. any attempt to goon it up now will only look childish and patheticShow that you care and go down swinging.
All we had to do was beat the Knights 3 more times.
It better be a late one. I wonder which casino gets cup first?Huh, when the Knights go through the handshake line there will be only one thing on their minds: Tomorrow's tee time.
yeah but think about how much cheating would be required to get the leafs into the SCF, almost an unbelievable amount of it, wouldn't be easy to stomachIf Leafs were playing tonight the Cap would be up an extra million next year. Not to mention there would be a game 6.
You're not wrong.Come on man. We all know Leaf fans never go to sleep with a smile.
They were the most competitive losers who were swept. That's gotta mean something.Y'all played a good series, jokes are going to be just that
I mean Florida was one of the absolute worst teams in the league for half the season, then one of the absolute best teams for half the season, then knocked out a bunch of wagons in the playoffs, then imploded in the Finals.
If you have a theory about how sample sizes factor into this, I'd love to hear it.
There's like 3 broken sticks
All of this is falseDon't disagree, but it's clear now this Florida team was able to goon its way past vastly superior teams.
Imagine if Panthers came back and tied it
