SkinnerWho does McDavid give the cup to first? Has to be Drai.
Same for you in Chicago! And if you find yourself in Chicago, no matter what, never try Malort!!!I had no idea what Malort was until you posted it.
Thank you for the kind words. If you are ever in Tampa...HMU...i'll gladly meet up for a drink.
Game 3 was a good, close oneI hope Game 7 is a close one. The only thing this series has been missing is a really back and forth high intensity classic. Have to think both teams will leave everything on the ice on Monday, do or die.
He's a young goalie who's pulled it together at the right time in spite of the unprecedented amount of noise around him. He's a great story if they win.No shot IMO but what do I know.
My only issue with any of this is that I don't think that the, 'if only Demko was healthy' thing is any kind of 'bad luck' that went against Vancouver.
Demko is injury-prone, he breaks down. Vancouver chose to build around him anyway and it didn't work out so (IMO... not that anyone asked) those are just breaks, not bad luck.
It'd be like an Oiler fan saying we'd have already beaten Florida if only Mattias Janmark was scoring more powerplay goals. Well, that was never gonna happen anyway.
For sure, I just don't think he'd be the first one to get it.He's a young goalie who's pulled it together at the right time in spite of the unprecedented amount of noise around him. He's a great story if they win.
Hate to bog down the thread with off topic stuff but this is a ridiculous post. He was overriden in 21-22 leading to playing thru injury & ultimately missing time in 22-23. Thats it.
This was a freak injury & they were over cautious with him prior to the playoffs. It was just bad luck.
(Sorry oil fans)
Hey, if they want to crown themselves the 2024 Excuses Cup Champions, it's cool. The Canucks were severely outplayed and this weird complex Canucks fans have needs to stop lmao. You lost in round 2, this is the SCF. Your team was inferior and lost for a reason, just move on buddy
Maurice: "There's no way I would have challenged that"
Knoblauch, 20 minutes later: "I wanted to challenge it right away"
one lesser adversary flies the white flag - Hogtown could learn a lessonNone of it means anything. They will never admit to getting breaks, and ultimately it doesn't matter because they're a game away from the Stanley Cup.
I've made peace with whatever happens. Connor was eventually going to figure out how to win.
People are getting way too ahead of themselves. Still one more game to play amd Florida is getting three days rest and going home. They are not out of this.
It was way too close to declare an overturn. You don't call that BS in game 6 of the Final. Should have been 2-1 one minute into the 2nd with Florida getting some momentum. How is there note more chatter about the offside review in this thread? Are we seriously all OK with this??
It is ruining the league. I honestly don't even care about game 7 after that call.
It makes no sense whatsoever. I've never bought into to conspiracy or corruption, but there is something fishy about that one.
