Bob's stats after 5 games:Yeah great, but he has to go 11-0 now, good luck with that bub.
Crazy and embarrassing are the first two words to come to mind. Friday is one day short of exactly 9 weeks since the postseason started. Its actually crazy that we arent even at game 6 and its f***ing june 20th
Meh. It’s buzzing in Edmonton. Lining up game 6 for a Friday night is amazing for us although the consequence of having a potential game 7 on Monday sucks.Man, the scheduling is killing momentum for this final. Let's go already.
Yep game 5 , 4 days later than last yearCrazy and embarrassing are the first two words to come to mind. Friday is one day short of exactly 9 weeks since the postseason started.
I don't remember a postseason ever taking this long.
Watch them change the date if there's a game 7 to July 2 just to not mess with the draft and free agency day.Its actually crazy that we arent even at game 6 and its f***ing june 20th
I researched.
2004 game 7 was two days away from exactly 9 weeks. Started April 7th and ended June 7th.
But that is likely due to the amount of game 7's.
For instance, the SCF started on May 25th and ended on said 7th June.
Only one two day break between games (4 & 5).
Yep.I think the two day break between games in the Final just became a thing the last few years. Maybe the last 5 or so.
When the Oilers were in it in 2006 it was only one day in between all games regardless of travel.
Globally speaking, the NFL is a marginal league in a marginal sport,
Here is a list of professional sports leagues by revenue (the only thing leagues care about).we don't give a rat's *ss about the NFL, NBA, or MLB. These leagues are basically ignored by the rest of the world.
They'll make game 7 part of next year's all-star weekendWatch them change the date if there's a game 7 to July 2 just to not mess with the draft and free agency day.
That'd still incredibly good for a "niche" league/sportHere is a list of professional sports leagues by revenue (the only thing leagues care about).
1. NFL
2. MLB
3. NBA
4. Premier League
5. NHL
Calling the most successfull sports league in the world marginal, by any measure, is silly.
Nice, NHL right up thereHere is a list of professional sports leagues by revenue (the only thing leagues care about).

Yeah but he also has the best player in the world giving him 4 pts. Unless the Panthers slow him down they are cooked.
They only need to win 2 straight now.Bobrovsky can be a big part of that stopping McDavid.
Odds are still against Oilers to win 4 straight.
Pro league. I think college football and basketball bring in more revenue than the NHL.Nice, NHL right up there

Yeah, as an Oilers and Hemsky fan, I don't think I've ever been as excited about NHL hockey as that post-season. It was an incredible underdog story for the Oilers and solidified their place in Edmonton. I couldn't believe they went that far. This post-season is giving that one a run for its money though. This is my favorite finals series of all time, actually the whole playoffs were the best playoffs I have ever seen. I followed Buffalo closely that year, really fun team with Afingenov, Drury etc.. Also the same year as the Umberger hit at center ice. Really fun year for hockey. I haven't seen a playoff from round 1 to the finals as exciting as that year in all my years of watching hockey.
Just want to add my complaints to the scheduling. Panthers need to hurry up and end the season already
That’s all revenues from all athletics, not one specific sport, and both genders.Pro league. I think college football and basketball bring in more revenue than the NHL.
Right now the Oilers need one win to reset this series. After that, everything is possible.Odds are still against Oilers to win 4 straight.
Draft is June 28th. If this goes 7, that would only leave 3 days in between game 7 and the draft....Crazy and embarrassing are the first two words to come to mind. Friday is one day short of exactly 9 weeks since the postseason started.
