If anyone deserves to be scratched, it's Pouliot. He's done nothing but take penalties this series. Put Carcillo on that line and I think you'll see good things happen. That whole statement sounds ass backwards, I know.

And it's tough to do now, but man, I'd love to see what Kreider and Miller would look like together at this point. Shaky defensively yeah, but they bring out the best in each other and would play with serious fire. That's what we need right now.

For me...just don't let this season, this ****in dream, end on home ice boys. It's been a great run, better than any of us were expecting, and the future looks bright. Don't let it be overshadowed by embarrassment.

I find your comment insensitive to the situation. I know you prefaced it by saying it was touching but then comment how long suffering fans (season ticket holders?) deserve it as well.

I'd say this gentleman deserves a win more to help him get over his grief than a season ticket holder does. They'll always have next year...he won't have another next year with his daughter.

there is no "getting" over the loss of a loved one unfortunately. it might get better or things might get easier but that pain is always there and you never know when its gonna hit you.

having said that if being at a rangers game gives him a tiny bit of a smile all the more reason. especially with Fathers on Sunday. I hope his buddies make it a point to call etc. gonna be a hell weekend

They may not win, but if they were to fall tonight, I doubt it will be due to a lack of heart. I hope AV plainly asks them, "Do you want to stop playing tonight?"

One step at a time.

Torts got fired for sitting Richards?

Richards has shown us many times how he responds to big moments in these playoffs. I would prefer Miller in the lineup and Moore on the point of the PP.

Yes, He sure came up small with that game winning goal in game 7 against the Penguins. Can't bench him now. Just need to take him off the PP.

I head someone on here say the truest thing that I have heard on HF in quite a long time.

"Either you make history or you be history,"

I have faith, it may be weak, it may be 99.999% improbable, but damn it there is no giving up until it is ****ing over

I posted that earlier in this thread. I hope you were referring to me :D

Rachel McAdams = Rangers Fans.

Sudden rain around the boat = symbolism for the sudden yet unsurprising troubles that the team has put us through this series.

Ryan Gosling = Rangers.

Don't give up on us, Ryan.

Francesca just said the Rangers are already complimenting LA and they sound resigned to lose. This is bad. You save that talk until you need it.
Building a culture of winning doesn't start by conceding losses before they happen.

Francesca is an idiot and should never EVVVVER talk about hockey.

This is very good news. The guy is the ultimate sports jinx known to man. Exact opposite of what he says usually happens.

Prediction: in a blow-out win for NYR, Richards gets injured by an errant EN attempt, and we can't buy him out; Kings go on to win Game 5.

I feel this is a movie quote but for the life of me, I have no idea where it is from....
