Good luck to all who are playing, watching, listening etc. I'll be sleeping like the soft euro i am.

Here's hoping I wake up to a series, and not another nail in the coffin.

Let's go Rangers!

Think of it this way:

It is better to lose the first two and win the third than to go into game 3 and lose on 1-1.

Hanging on to anything that seems like hope.

im surprisingly calm. i feel relaxed. way more nervous for games 1 and 2. i think its low pressure, theyve already written us off, lets just go out there and play type of a feeling.

i feel like the rangers will give it their all tonight, and if it isnt good enough...it isnt good enough.

Kind of feeling the same way, they haven't been dogging it or anything. Honestly they've played the best in the last 2 games out of the whole playoffs almost and it just didn't fall their way for a number of reasons. If they can't win tonight then they can't win. Wasn't a lack of effort or heart, just need to retool a few spots and try again next time. (as long as Lundqvist doesn't pull a Richards and fall off a cliff at age 32)

I initially expected a Kings sweep. Then I recanted. Now I'm on the fence. This game is huge.

Sorry, I still fail to see how these first two games have demonstrated that the Rangers are a better conditioned team.

To me, if they were indeed better conditioned, we would have seen them constantly out-skating the Kings in the three overtimes. I have not seen that. I have seen no huffing and puffing by the Kings, nor Rangers consistently beating the Kings to loose pucks.

The overtimes have been pretty even affairs, with the Kings getting the only two goals. If you and the other guy are correct in your analysis, then you would both seem to be saying that the Kings are clearly better, else, the Rangers conditioning would have resulted in victories.

I don't believe the Kings are better than the Rangers. I think it is a very evenly matched series so far.

Not quite.

I too think they've been even I'm saying the difference wouldn't be as drastic as you suggested.

Seems like a pointless argument to have. So I digress.

I'd like to take this moment to say that Gaborik can go **** himself. Bum couldn't lead us to the finals but will do work for LA.

Gaborik is a joke. Every 3rd moon he decides to play.

He hasn't had a playoffs like this since he entered the league.

He'll be injured soon enough.

Rangers should be hammering him

The Kings unbelievable run of ridiculous luck has to come to an end.

Usually, when a team goes on a streak that relies as much on luck as skill crashes and burns when the breaks start to go against them. (This isn't about the team relying on luck, as much as this streak is fueled by some ridiculous breaks.)

Rangers have to limit the giveaways and the ability for the Kings to get the breaks.

Score on the power play and try to burn them with speed.

"According to Nielsen, the Kings’ double-overtime victory in Los Angeles averaged roughly 6.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched Game 2 on record (since at least 1994). The game was up 60% vs. last year’s Game 2 on NBCSN (Bruins-Blackhawks, 4.0 million), and up 121% vs. 2012’s Game 2 on NBC that also featured the Kings (Kings-Devils, 2.9 million)." - Variety

That's a pretty good number (peak was 7.5 million) for the NHL. Wow.

Those are pretty good numbers, I saw the market rankings for Game 1 and evidently Chicago fans totally checked out after the Hawks were eliminated because Chicago didn't break the Top 10 markets for Game 1.

C'mon bro...take a look at who his center is....take a look at what kind of all-world Offensive D he plays with. Gaborik is the type of guy that thrives in the right environment, everything is clicking for him, and on the real, he deserves it after his career. My man had 2 40 goal seasons for us, a triple OT winner in the playoffs with a torn rotator cuff, and scored a career high 86 points with Zoloft as his center. If there are any players I like on L.A, it's Gaborik, Voynov, and Stoll.

This is Game 1. Brand new series. Win both home games.

LETS ****ING GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rangers

Put some goalie pads on him, he'll be Kreider bait in no time :sarcasm:

He can't handle the pressure of being a #1 guy.. but yes I agree

Lol at ripping on Gaborik. He was the offense for this team for a most part of his years here with really bad support. But yeah **** him for not ****ing up New Jersey with a shoulder riped apart, that's on him too I guess. Probably broke it while tumbling around Manhattan druk and flying high on coke celebrate a loss.

A part of me would be glad if Gabby lifts the cup for all the underseved **** he got when he was here.

LETS GO RANGERS!
