How's the time to throw them a NYC Beat down!

Flip them the bird, kick some donkey or DIE LIKE VIKINGS!!!

In seven short hours we will have ourselves a series.

The boys will pull through tonight. It is what they know how to do.

I'm thinking the Rangers should let the kings score first to change it up a little, they're having a bit too much luck with their epic comeback drives.

If all the other Kings players weren't on the ice you'd have a point.

Probably just Kenny musing, is that allowed?

Anything is allowed, but posting it twice makes me believe that the poster thinks it has important meaning.

Not sure what other Kings on the ice has to do with a discussion about conditioning.

Rangers 1.5 goal favorites for tonight, moneyline is about -145

Money pouring in on NYR, too. Went from -125 this morning up to -145.

Just play the way you have and don't get too tight in the 3rd. They've shown they can hang with the Kings. Time to make it a series! LGR!

Steve Kozari and Brad Watson. No O'Halloran (standby).
Linesman are Scott Driscoll and Shane Heyer.

Both Watson and Kozari call more penalties on home teams combined avg 12.7% more)
Home teams under Watson/Kozari have a combined 47% winning percentage
In the 2014 playoffs, Watson/Kozari have given more power plays to NYR than opponents (4.5/gm vs. 3.8/gm), and fewer power plays to LAK than their opponents (3.3 vs 3.7)
Linesman Scott Driscoll will be working tonight. Dan Carcillo is serving the final game of his six-game suspension for an altercation with Driscoll during the Eastern Conference Final.
The Rangers and Kings have both gone 1-for-8 on the PP in the Cup Final.
Total 17 penalties in the series – 9 for NY, 8 for LA

Now what did I say in the last thread?

The nhl KNOWS when it ****s games up. there's a reason O Hallaran is not in this game.

THANK YOU JESUS!

Wait until the second and then take a one goal lead, should confuse them.

Seriously, maybe let LA dominate the first period for once. Maybe we'll win then :sarcasm:.

Rangers need to win tonight.

One thing I just thought about while in the shower is how much better the ice is gonna be, I wonder what impact that will have on the game. Despite blowing a 2 goal lead in game one, and "blowing" a lead in game 2, we've looked pretty good on the ****** ice despite how much I've complained. I hope it doesn't help the Kings.

Your statement earlier was an attempt to downplay the Rangers "freshness" by saying Quick didn't have to save the game, that's because these are professional athletes the Rangers being well conditioned can't negate that. We controlled the pace for most of the 3rd and both OT periods in my opinion which would indicate we had fresher legs and were beating them to pucks, etc. Sometimes though against a talented opponent that isn't enough.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few phantom calls against the Kings tonite.

I believe the league knows they owe the Rangers a game.

It should be 2-0...

FOR THE RANGERS!!

haha, well i won't be too cocky... I'd be more than happy with a 1-1 split...

I know for a fact that the kings are gassed. All this talk about the Garden being so great to play at is them trying to get the teams adrenaline pumping... That also means that some of those guys might play recklessly, and some might take stupid penalties...

It also means the kings will come out flying, and then be out of gas half way through the game. They sure didn't look too energized last game after the 2nd.

Sorry, I still fail to see how these first two games have demonstrated that the Rangers are a better conditioned team.

To me, if they were indeed better conditioned, we would have seen them constantly out-skating the Kings in the three overtimes. I have not seen that. I have seen no huffing and puffing by the Kings, nor Rangers consistently beating the Kings to loose pucks.

The overtimes have been pretty even affairs, with the Kings getting the only two goals. If you and the other guy are correct in your analysis, then you would both seem to be saying that the Kings are clearly better, else, the Rangers conditioning would have resulted in victories.

I don't believe the Kings are better than the Rangers. I think it is a very evenly matched series so far.

nahh

The NHL ****s up a whole lot without changing anything. But, I agree, thank ****ing god he isn't going to be doing the game.

For some reason I have a gut feeling tonight will be the start of a 3 game win streak for the Rangers. I really hope my gut is right, because if we don't win at least 2 in a row it's over, in my opinion.

Win tonight and you have a chance. Lose and its all she wrote. Huge game would be an understatement.

it aint ovah till its ovah

one thing the kings have shown is that they dont play well with leads just like they play great without leads. they play up and down to the situations.

Okay. I want to puke now. I'm so nervous.

im surprisingly calm. i feel relaxed. way more nervous for games 1 and 2. i think its low pressure, theyve already written us off, lets just go out there and play type of a feeling.

i feel like the rangers will give it their all tonight, and if it isnt good enough...it isnt good enough.
