I guess the Rangers didn't get the memo.

damn wanted to be able to watch the game with my friends and other fans without shelling out a grand a piece on tix

They did it two years ago for the Devils series. The tickets were free, but "fans" were getting their free tickets and trying to sell them to actual fans.

The song I used was a must. Check it out and let me know what you guys think! LGR!

I've been in TV for more than 20 years.

This is very, very good work! Well done.

(Would've alternated wide shots and close ups at the starting when u had all the crowd shots and would've put some more Hank saves in there especially last game but that's really good stuff!)

Very well done! As others noted Hank's windmill save is a must. I'd also muted done songs lyrics at one point as not matching the video content (teenage love ?). Otherwise it's NHL Network road to the Cup worthy IMHO.

I've been told in no uncertain terms in prior years that teams that go to game 7's every series can't possibly win the cup because they'll be so worn down.

I am watching NHL Tonight' top 10 segment highlighting ECF series and I thought of a conspiracy theory. I'm guessing that there is no consistency in reporting whether Weise had a concussion because he got concussed earlier when same Moore rode him into the side of a boards and Montreal doesn't want NHL to know it. This hit is one of top 10 highlights btw.

damn I could of sworn they'll play the game out on the tv when the game is going on inside. I wish they did a viewing party at the garden when the game is on the road at least

I ask someone the other day if MSG will have a viewing party on the SCF. Do anyone know if MSG will be doing this? It would be great.

Oh really? I wasn't aware of that. Especially since people don't post this sentiment every 20 minutes.

Lol, nothing wrong with a friendly reminder of why not to go there....or go there for a serious laugh if your in the mood.

I mean it's not like the same half dozen or so themes aren't repeated on HF every 24 hrs or so.

I have to admit that at a few points I've shared some of the same sentiments that are put down in this article, but I'm just an emotional knuckle head when it comes to my team. And I also plainly admit that I love it when "The Professionals" get it wrong.

Remarkable situations like what is happening with the Rangers make a journalist like Campbell come off more like Ted Night than anything else. I suspect he may also be engaging in a bit of thinly disguised trolling to up his page traffic.

He's one of those writers who can't/won't help keeping his self importance and biases out of what he writes. Here is my favorite take away:

"Any team that is down 3-1 to a group as talented and explosive as the Penguins is always in serious trouble. A team down 3-1 whose best player is Mats Zuccarello is basically finished.

Nothing against Zuccarello...
"

If I were Zuuc, I'd have this taped to my bathroom mirror and maybe even the inside of my helmet visor.

Right after making copies and giving those to Hank and MCD.

Had to post this...

I've been a Rangers fan since 1991. First season I watched was the 1991-92 season. I thought I saw that year what was the greatest Ranger team put together on paper ever lose to the Penguins on a ****** 60-foot snapshot from Ron Francis. At that time, finding out about the 52 year drought they had, I thought they'd never win a cup. But in 1994 thanks to some great hookups, I went to 10 games during that magical run and got to go to a parade. One of the greatest moments of my life. Seeing the Yankees win 2 years later to start the first of 5 championships during my lifetime was great too as well as seeing the Giants put that one GIANT BLEMISH on New England's 2007 season and then beat them again in 2011.

But NOTHING and I mean NOTHING compares to the allure of the Rangers winning. I've gone to 5 games this postseason so far (Games 1 & 2 vs Philly, Game 3 vs Pittsburgh and Games 4 and 6 vs Montreal) and I don't think I've EVER heard the Garden as loud as it was in games 4 and 6. This feeling is surreal and although it's 2 days later, I still don't think it's sunk in yet.

I know Chicago and LA fans might sit here and say that we look like amateurs being that we look like we don't know how to handle this kind of success, whatever. I don't care what ANYONE says. This is an amazing journey and I'm glad to say that I'm a Ranger fan, just like you guys.

I've been on these boards for 8 years now. I know some great posters who know a ton about this sport and have been watching for just as long, if not longer than I have. I've also gotten into some heated arguments and probably pissed off quite a few of you. What can I say? I'm proud, intense and I straddle the line.

However, every single one of us deserves this. We truly are some of the greatest fans in the world and don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise. Let's keep this amazing journey going and keep having fun.

Sorry for the novel, but it was on my mind.

This is a very well conditioned team with some crazy athletes on it. Kreider and McDonagh could go for days I think.

We were done when we had that condensed schedule in the first and second round remember?

La is about to play their 21st game tomorrow. 3 game 7's.

They won the cup 2 years ago having played a grand total of 20 games in all 4 series.

Guys and gals, I created a Scrapbook thread* for images/newspaper covers for the Rangers' post-season endeavors. Thought it'd be cool to have, maybe kill some time and build excitement until the Finals start. Higher quality images preferred in case anyone like myself would like to print out the images; Not necessary though. :)

*Gifs are fine, but try to keep the jokey stuff to a minimum for now. Also include the player(s), game, series, goal info if possible.
