What's ironic in that in past years, the 4th line of other teams always killed us. Tonight, our amazing 4th line this season won us this game, and we're now in the finals.

Yup. It's so important to have 12 forwards who can play.

Canadiens fan here giving props to the Rangers. Despite everything that was said and done during the series, I thought the Rangers deserved it and definitely played better than Montreal. You guys got size, speed and character, and don't let the Cherry's of the world tell you the Rangers can't win against a western team. With Lundqvist and that defense, anything can happen.

I'll be cheering for you guys. Also, it hurts to say this but McDonagh is going to win a Norris sooner or later.

LOL...your welcome. Too funny how Bruins especially but also Sens, Leafs, Jets fan bases jumped on our bandwagon during Hab series. Heck, I think majority of Pens and even Flyer fans wanted us to win. I mean I realize the old adage "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" was in play in particularly with the Bruins as the hatred between the teams and fan base runs very deep but didn't realize until I perused the other teams message boards around the league here, how many other fan bases were rooting for us. Also didn't realize how absolutely hated the Canadians are though after seeing the BS antics and diving their players do and quite a few obnoxious posters, I can see why they aren't exactly loved.

Only two teams that were undoubtedly pro Hab and anti-Rangers was of course the Debbies and Islanders boards which is kind of obvious as both fanbases are jealous of us as it is for the attention we get. Now their worst nightmares are about to come true...well it already has, us being in the Cup Final. But if we win the Cup, both fan bases will need to get major prescriptions to Percoset for the pain they will be feeling for years to come...

Dorsett is quite an effective player if he's under control. His skating is a little awkward but he moves fast when he's up to speed, certainly doesn't shy away from a hit, and has pretty good skills. Basically perfect for that kind of fourth line role.

Eh, we're the fan base that calls Brodeur the most overrated player of all time, talks about how the Devils and their trap ruined the sport, etc. Rival fans are always bitter and coming up with reasons why the other team isn't that good and doesn't deserve respect. The Devils fans on HF (as a whole) might be more obnoxious than most, but it's nothing we wouldn't do if the situation was reversed.

Proud is the word, I'm 56 and this is only the 4th trip to the Stanley Cup Finals in my lifetime...gotta love the 4th line...AV deserves alot of credit for rolling 4 lines and 3 d pairs, keeping them fresh...last night was the easiest shutout Hank will ever have in his life....poetic justice Dom Moore scoring the winning goal, he was Mr Everything in this series, when Brass got hurt he played on the 3rd line, when Steps got hurt he played on the 1st line, he and Boyle won all the important faceoffs, a money player...LGR!

After they beat the Devils in the Stadium Series, a majority of the team went to this bar downtown to party. My buddy was there and took photos with all of them. He said Zuccarello was bombed.

Thanks, it's mainly the Younger Devil fans posting that nonsense. The old guys like myself know that the Rangers have a very good team and a good shot at winning the cup.

And why not root for the Rangers, I rather see a NY team win the cup instead of it going to Chicago or LA.

Started following the NHL after this years olympics, chose the Rangers as my team because I love NY and Henke (yes I am a Swede). I hear ya. It's as if some check that, the majority of their fanbase throughout the series just didn't want to see what the "reality" was. It was if they were living in fantasy-land with the most ridiculous one being their saying Kreider purposely injured Price obviously. I don't know, before the series, I really had no hate at all for the Habs team or their fans. But I must admit now that the series is over, I clearly see why the Bruins fan base despises them and if we played them more during regular season, I could easily see the hate meter go way up...not up to Devil or Flyer levels but definitly way way up. Very annoying fan base and their players with the diving, flopping and embellishing....in all my years of following hockey(40+), NEVER have I seen anything as embarassing as what I witnessed these past 6 games from Habs players...NEVER!!
