Prust went after the money. Plus, his girlfriend lives in Montreal I think, so it was an easy decision for him. I bet he does regret it at the moment, though.

Anyway, I still can't believe we're playing for the cup. Seems so surreal, and almost like a long dream.

Just amazing. After 1994 I wondered if the Rangers would ever make it back. This is the most enjoyable team to watch in a while. Now let's win the whole thing.

Hats off to all the old timers.
 
The playoff production in points has been the same as the regular season: A lot of decent contributions all over the lineup but nothing special. Highest we have is less than a 60 point season pace.

Rangers are setting the new standard for balanced production. No true 1st line necessary.

I was saying the same thing when Eddie kept saying the Habs hadn't gotten the puck past the Rangers faceoff dot for the first 10 minutes of the 3rd.
 
Wow. Reading that Devils thread is nuts. Their fans are really disgusting. As much as Rangers fans hate the Devils, I don't ever remember that amount of vitriol from us when they were in the Cup.

I'm in the same group. I liked Tortorella. A lot. I probably would have given him another year, even with the signs pointing to the fact that he had lost the team.

But AV has been just what this team needed. The right coach at the right time. I kill Sather for almost everything but the AV signing has turned out to be the perfect fit. Remember how lost this team looked back in October? Vigneault said it would take time for the team to adjust to his ways.
 
Remember how beating the Pens was a bad move since we'd lose a pick and this team would never play in the finals anyway? Yeah. How is that working out for you?

The they beat US to get there. They weren't even in the dance this time. The jealousy runs deep in that neck of the woods.

Congratulations you guys. You guys deserved it. You were simply the better team this series.

I wish you all the best in the finals and regardless of it being LA or Chicago I hope it is you hoisting the cup when the dust settles. Lundqvist deserves a Cup and I'd love for him to get it this season.
