Die hard Habs fan here. Great series Rangers. Would've liked to see it if we had Price throughout the series, but you guys were the better team for the majority. Cheering for you guys in the SCF, Go out and get MSL and Lundqvist a cup!

luck ran out tonight. Had to happen sooner or later... Habs made it this far by slipping through crack after crack, all the way back from round 2. They definitely had a fiesty team, though. But not enough character to get it done. All the diving and embellishing caught up to them, and that was that - teams don't win cups with those types of players, teams need real warriors, not players that squirm, dive and cheat
Good luck to the Rangers. L.A. or Chicago will be a monumental task. I still feel like New York just got by this series though, as Montreal gave them a really hard time and could have won the series with a few different bounces. Finals should be good

I still remember '94 like it was yesterday - it was so amazing, especially especially after '92. The previous disappointment made the subsequent victory SO sweet.
And the same with joining this board in the wake of the first lockout when I was SO starved for hockey conversation. Man, I remember the scuffles I had about "playing the yutes" and so much more...
Not to mention the razzing about being Brooklyn Ranger's biggest fan.

We win and we deserved to win this one. We were the better team tonight. If it weren't for Tokarski we might have won by three or four goals. He kept them in it. Henrik did come up big a couple times but basically most of the Habs chances weren't that good.

Congrats Rangers fans, seriously. I really hope your team can do what the Canucks couldn't with AV in 2011. I'll admit that it's bittersweet but I'll be rooting for the Rangers at the end of the day.
