I always feel bad in these situations for little kids going to their first game. Waited their whole life to see Matthews and maybe wont go to a game again until they’re much older, and matthews is scratched.

There's families who shelled out over a thousand to attend tonight and miss out on seeing the league's best scorer and it's a shame. Then there's schmos like me who bet on the Leafs while out for my morning routine and should probably stop sports betting anyway.
