Belluz has yet to play a game with Cleveland. It makes no sense to just not play him the whole year... ECHL is where players careers go to die.... Send him to Sarnia .... Getting him back would be the biggest break the sting have ever got.... im just saying... Saginaw and London look very mediocre... as they both sit right now, they're not even close to championship level teams.... Send Belluz to a contender for a kings ransom and The Buzz will be a power house sooner than later... OHL seems to be wide-open again this year.
The Marlies are playing there 3rd game right now. And Voit has yet to play for them too. Cleveland plays there 4th game tonight see if DBB finally plays. It so frustrating to see teams get good players back year after year but we literally never do.

Pretty sure Voit is out with injury.

wow, I honestly compete forgot about Voit..... Just shows how hard it is to get the the NHL .... Interesting to see what will happen.

FYI, if you're planning on watching or listening to the Sting/Otters game tonight, it's starting 15 minutes late. Apparently the Sting arrival was delayed.

It's very rare for NHL drafted/signed forwards to return to the OHL for their overage year, too many other options. Has Sarnia actually been affected by this more than other teams? Players sticking in the NHL in their 19 year old season? Chychrun maybe? Anyone else?

Holy, the boys are absolutely buzzing! Feet are moving and they are pouring the pressure on Erie. Some great offensive zone time leading to two quick goals, love it!

Of course Erie scores immediately after posting this lol.

Goldobin ... yakupov ... stamkos ... Zacha ... you already mentioned chychrun .... im not gonna bring up the covid years because everyone got f'd by that... I have no clue what that compares to the league but when I look at London the only guy I can think of leaving early is Rick Nash.

Zurzycia looks 100x better than Ben... It's actually baffling how far Ben has fallen..... Every game Brown gets better ... I think we've got something special with him and he's still only 15 .... turns 16 in a few days. Is Browns draft year next year??? or the year after??

It’s the LeBlanc twins show! 7 pts between the two tonight through 40 mins. Both electric tonight.

Hahaha seemed like he has played well for them up until tonight. But I’m with yah, Surzycia is better already and was the right choice to keep easily lol.
They mentioned on the broadcast last night about comparisons around the league of Brown to Easton Cowan at that age. I’ll take that! His confidence continues to grow.

Those are mostly players drafted through the CHL import draft. If I recall, Sarnia had a good stretch of recruitment, getting very high end imports to report. That could play into it.

Surzycia don’t deserve those last two goals on him. Come on boys…battle for your goalie. He looked pissed skating right off the ice, not even doing handshakes with the boys barley.

Good game overall despite some laziness at the end there. Loved how we had quick responses to the first 2 Erie goals. Team did a good job not giving Erie much momentum in this game for any significant period of time.

2 for 2 weekend in the books!

Good win tonight better effort then yesterday but still not great. Thought Surzycia played well handful of big saves. Hopefully get Wainwright back on Tuesday and try to go 7-3 in our first 10. I know I thought are team would be better then most thought. But I didn't think we would be talking 7-3 or 6-4 in our first 10.

The LK list since Nash @ 20 years ago is as long as most teams.......if not all teams for kids leaving with Jr eligibility left not including an OA year for the time frame u mentioned.

ok but the question you asked was how many guys played in the nhl the year after they were drafted at 19 years old ..... the guys I mention all qualify.

"I have no clue what that compares to the league but when I look at London the only guy I can think of leaving early is Rick Nash."

London has had many players leave early with Jr eligibility left since Rich Nash who was the player you referenced In your post. I'll give you an easy one.....Kane. And there is many more. Hopefully that helps.

maybe I was wrong on Zacha I dunno I forget when he was born and drafted ... from what I remember people expected him back

Off the top for London......Sam Gagner, Patrick Kane, John Tavares, Matthew Tkachuk, sure there's more.
