Assuming Chartier gets a game this week (he better lol) I'd like to see it be Niagara Friday. Have struggled to score a bit this yr. Give Surzy the better Erie team & potentially a fun little matchup with Gaudreau.

No Doucette suspension yet. They've announced 4or5 SSPDs so you'd assume he'd of been listed too although u never know with this league. Gonna guess we appealed the call. I rewatched it & while he was certainly the more aggresive one I wouldn't say it warranted an instigator.

See if Wainwright or Hall are ready yet. Wasn't a for sure thing they'd be ready this weekend just what they were hoping for as of last week.
It 100% did not warrant an instigator. Doucette had his guy out of the pile up tied up originally. That guy then tore himself away from Doucette to get at another Sting player already tied up with another opponent. So of course Doucette is gonna chase him down and grab him. I was dumbfounded by the call to be honest.

Changed up the profile picture haha. Went with a little past & present type thing. Wish Brown or Fischer had some better in game photos to have a "future" guy included but alas. Season just started.

That's very common for most coaches at this level.
Its hit and miss. Ive seen some teams come in and play nothing but rookies but others will never do it. I remember Oshawa would come in and play guys like Jenner, Laughton and Dal Colle on the top line right away, but London would give Evangelista a single shift or two. Both teams trying to win.

The Attack where not that great and Letang didn't always show an interest in playing some kids, to each there own.

Interesting weekend ahead. We are still a team that if we don't bring 100% effort odds are we'll lose even vs the bottom teams so hopefully Letang reminds them of that & they bring it both games.

First true roady for a lot of these guys. Fingers crossed Hall & Wainwright are in. Hoping Chartier starts today vs NIA & if he does isn't to rusty & or nervous.

Would love to see Filak get going & Vilmanis build off his best game so far. Also be nice to see A. LeBlanc find the net vs his former team. He's been good just not much luck around the net.

Looks like no Hall or Wainwright yet. Chartier gets his 1st start. Hopefully he gets a couple easy ones right way to get the jitters out.

Be great to see the rookie line (92-55-93) find the net just for their confidence.

Really solid opening PD for Chartier. Team is completely flat tho. Gotta get going. Young with a sick setup for Doucette who keeps it going

Hopefully Brown is ok. Big hit. Honestly shouldn't of been a penalty at all imo.

I'm at the arena tonight. Looked like Federkow got Brown in the head. Did the replay show differently?

Rough start but good final 10 mins. Slick play by Young to feed Doucette. Both continue to be so good. I thought if anything there was some head contact, intentional or not, it don’t matter. I think they got the call right after review.

I think there was some head contact. But what bugs me the most. Is when it's OAs going after rookies like that.

Top line is driving me nuts. They've had the puck all game and refuse to take it to the net or shoot it then they fall asleep on the PP & allow a SHG. Vilmanis especially is trying to dangle everybody.

As a team tho pretty awful effort so far. Not much jump especially offensively. Chartier been really solid. Hopefully they can play their best PD in the 3rd & take the W.

Why are 22 and 11 still together? Letang split them up last week vs. London and it worked. Why revert back to it?

Naturally they are utterly dominating the final 10 & Chartier let's in a floater. Not sure if it was tipped or screened but shoulda had it. Sucks cause he's been really good.

HUGE save to end the game. Little redemption at least. Somebody make a play in OT.

Certainly not a pretty win, but it's a win we'll take! Chartier with a helluva debut. 30/32 & showed great composure immediately bouncing back after the weak tying goal. Huge save with under 30 seconds then 2 brilliant stops in OT, one being on He, NIAs best player. Looked very releaxed & poised right from the start which is nice.

Gotta love one of the twins scoring the winner vs their former team. Sick goal at that by Jacob who i thought was a beast tonight. Andrew was dangerous but couldn't find the net. Great to see Filak get one, but for the love of god can we split 22 & him up permanently.

Brown got rocked a few times but nice to see him keep going. Had a sweet little pass on one of the PPs & that near goal late in the game was absolutely filthy. Thought Barr, Hurt & Omeri (especially Barr/Hurt) made so many solid plays & defended reaally strong. Just loving what im seeing from them.

Doucette 1G/1A as he continues to be a stud. Young's setup on the goal was nasty. Thought Sim was pretty noticeable too in his limited ice time,

Gotta play alot better tomorrow vs Erie, but at least ensure a split at worst. Would've jumped at 5Ws in 8 games to start before the season let alone without Wainwright.

Good expirence for the young guys tonight. Getting a win in a close game in OT. Hopefully we see a better effort tomorrow. Against a hopefully tired Erie team. Who beat LDN and has to travel all the way back to Erie. I doubt we see Ben tomorrow after playing LDN tonight plus travel.

Loved that the Sting found a way to get that W tonight. They didn't have close to their A game but they got it done. Awesome to see Jacob LeBlanc get the OT winner against his former team! Chartier was really solid in his debut. He had really good rebound control. Definitely had some nervous moments. He looked behind him after a save in the first and of course the second goal. I was really impressed with how we didn't let that goal faze him and made some big stops late in the third and in OT. He made a really nice blocker save early in the third too. I thought the team as a whole seemed to get going after that. The Brown-Sikic-Doucette line had a few good shifts and then the team started stacking those good shifts. That third period was the exact opposite of the first two. First two periods, they were turning the puck over way too much but in the third they seemed to settle down. Also one other side note, it was impressive seeing Mitch Young's skating. First time I've seen him live and man is he ever quick and good at carrying the puck up the ice. They'll have to recover quickly with a big time matchup against Gaudreau and Erie tomorrow

Nice road win for the boys .... I just love the grind this team has.... The only negative I really see with this team is the P.P stinks at times... Whoever has been scouting goalies for us deserves a raise cause Chartier looks very solid.... I think we really hit with the Brown pick I really think he is going to be great for us.

Mesar sent back to KIT just in time to play us Tuesday haha. God wouldn't it be nice to ever catch a break like that eh. Quite the trade chip too. As is Bruz on D & Rehkopf if they choose to flip him. Look no further than them for a team that's building towards the same year as us potentially.

I don't think Kitchener going to be selling with how well they're playing. Obviously it's only 10 games but they look pretty darn good

ok so when is DBB being returned to Sarnia? Lmao, give us a lucky break for once hockey gods!
Belluz has yet to play a game with Cleveland. It makes no sense to just not play him the whole year... ECHL is where players careers go to die.... Send him to Sarnia .... Getting him back would be the biggest break the sting have ever got.... im just saying... Saginaw and London look very mediocre... as they both sit right now, they're not even close to championship level teams.... Send Belluz to a contender for a kings ransom and The Buzz will be a power house sooner than later... OHL seems to be wide-open again this year.
