real tough to see all these injuries. Really too bad about Kukumberg as well, wish him the best, his injury did him no favours.

I guess the silver lining is it’s a decent chance for guys who we may be relying on next year to be impactful a chance to play some meaningful minutes.

Very interested to see what Seca and co decide to do in the import draft.

Too bad Kukumberg is gone. I liked his game early in the season but he tapered off after the injuries. Cajkovic leaving on crutches isn't ideal either.

Going to be tough to get wins the rest of the way. I wouldn't be mad if they missed with all the injuries they've suffered. I'd actually be quite impressed if they somehow were able to make it.

On a more positive note, Matthew Andersen had two assists in a Legionnaires win tonight. Up to 5G/15A in 34 games. That's the fifth most points by a '07 d-man in the GOJHL. Really impressive considering he's a late November birthday

Impressive too because he's more a chippy/nasty Dman. The Sting like him. Think in a perfect world he becomes like Leonard in LDN.

Something interesting to watch is what they decide to do with Bridgewater. He's at 5 games now. Has 4or5 left before they'd have to decide what to do with him. Won't see MacDonald or Cajkovic again this yr. No idea on Barr but he was in a cast 2 weeks ago so doubtful he'd be ready for at least another 2-3 weeks.

Certainly can't complain about ice time for the U17s now. They are forced to play with so many guys out. Biggest part of the season, too. Should be great experience for them whether they make it in or not.

Decent chance the next 7 days are what determine their season. ER GUE FLT FLT. If they go 0-4/1-3 they are likely toast with how brutal the rest of the schedule is especially with the injuries.

I'd have to think that Bridgewater will be with the team for the rest of the year at this point unless Barr comes back soon.

The next four games will be pretty much decide their playoff fate. It'll be interesting to see how they splits the starts in those games between Chartier and Surzycia

Buzzing, what a start! As an aside, have loved Kostuch on the PP for the sting, really feels like he helps them slow the play down when needed.

Where were those shots all year Doherty?!? What a couple snipes. Boys are buzzing. Really impressive how hard they are working as a group. Brown is everywhere. No clue how hasn't scored.

Fall asleep for a minute and let Erie back in it. Absolutely loving the physicality they are playing with. See if they can hold on.

Surzycia with a big bounce back. Goaltending was definitely the difference in this one. Easily Doherty' best OHL game. That is what I had hoped for all yr. Wainwright was unbelievable. Up to 30 points in 37 games. His speed is next level. I can't wait to see him the next 2 seasons. Doucette 2G puts him at 18. Kostuch 1A, +3. Brown was awesome. Can't believe doesn't get a pt on the night.

Loved Schneider tonight. He has his weaknesses but I love his energy & physicality. That 1 shift in the 2nd looked like Dillingham last yr haha. Fischer-Omeri have done well together. Love when Fischer keeps his game simple.

Loving the effort and compete these guys are playing with. Blocking shots, forechecking, hits, selfless play etc. love to see that from the youngest team in the conference. They've made me a fan. Not that I didn't cheer for them before more so I didn't wanna make it. They are earning it so I am for it.

Onto GUE!

Sheesh.... that was one of the best games I've seen from the buzz in awhile.... Agree on Brown being great despite not getting on the score sheet.... It's crazy because our oldest player are our worst players lol. I feel like Sarnia has a real good chance to slip into that 8 spot at seasons end.

Heard dislocated knee cap for Cajkovic. Fricken oof. Thought he was playing his best hockey the last 3-4 games too with Hurt. Chartier is sick.

Saw Barr tonight & he still has a cast on. Think they'll be forced to keep bridgewater & they gotta hope they don't suffer another D injury cause they have nobody left.

Will only have 12 Fs too with Filak out & Kukumberg gone.

hoping you guy’s pass Erie by the end of the year!
Erie is such a weird team... Buzz have a back to back with Flint and I think they need to win both of those games to get in because somehow Flint has 4 games remaining against Windsor. Meanwhile Buzz have a very tough remaining schedule.... Maybe that last reg season game vs Flint will be a win and in game. Who knows.

Next year's team could be fun as heck if they add the right players over the off season. They have some seriously great skaters in Wainwright, Brown, Kostuch, Doucette, Bridgewater, Young. Guys like Fischer, Barr, Hurt, Moses can all really get going too.

If they can add another great skating player or two or three they could be one helluva good skating team. Which would go really well with how Letang wants them to play which we've seen lately is relentless, suffocating, good on forecueck & backcheck.

Speaking of Letang think we've gotta give him & the staff some credit. They've got a very young team that's been really hurt by injuries (+Kukumberg leaving) & they've played legitimately good hockey here the last 3-ish weeks & have put themselves right in the fight for 8th if not 7th when everyone had them last even before trading Gaudreau, twins, Vilmanis.

Wainwright was a man on a mission last night. Think it's a safe bet he's the captain next yr. Only current non OA with a letter. Such a terrific work ethic & I think there's a decent chance he pushes for 80+ points next season. Such a fun player to watch with his ridiculous speed.

He's going to be a stud next year.
