I know they streamed scrimmages last camp. Do you know if they're doing that again this year?

Pretty good! I'd probably have MacDonell, Lantz swapped, same with Martone/McIntyre, but who knows what they'll do with the lines.

Letang has a lot more options than last yr throughout the entire lineup which I'm sure he's excited about.
We need to chill on the imports. They haven't proven anything yet. Vilmanis didn't get a single point in world Juniors and we are giving him first line. They could be fine but Sarnia hasn't been a good place for any imports lately.

vilmanis will be very good, not sure the other guy will be anything more then a depth player.

We'll have to wait & see! Vilmanis didn't put up points but had a solid showing at WJC. Pretty hard to put up points when u spend most of the game in your own end like Latvia did. A lot of scouting networks think he'll do good things for us.

Lantz is a wildcard no doubt. People were pretty high on him at 16. Played 2C for Sweden at U17s. Was a top player in their U18 league & moved up into the U20 league as a 16 year old. Unfortunately for him like others his season got stopped (covid) then he didn't play a single game in his draft yr due to covid & injuries. Then this yr he returned after a loooong layoff & had a really solid season & even got in some SHL games.

I've never said he's gonna be something special. Had Dann not been traded then he probably would be starting on line 3, but with him gone the door is open for him to play T6 minutes. Especially because Namestnikov is the only true C in our top-6. Voit, Burke are better on the wing. So that leaves a spot for Lantz or MacDonell, and I love everything about Angus' game but he's best served on line 3. Still only 17 & he doesn't possess high-end skill.

As we speak about Lantz, he has arrived in Sarnia lol. Will be wearing #93. Believe the last guy to where that for us was Brett Thompson.

We can only hope Lantz can grow a beard & have an equally as sweet flow as Thompson had lol. Not sure I've ever seen someone top his beard/hair combo in the O haha.

As if Gaudreau being a sensational goalie wasn't enough the kid has impeccable taste in pads lol. These are unbelievable. Might be the best looking set up I've seen for a Sting goalie.

Those were sweet too. I've always loved the type of design he has on these ones. Saw Grover's awhile back & they looked pretty sweet. Here they are:

Excited but nervous to see Grover. We really (really) need him to at least be serviceable. Showed some nice things but had a lot to work on.

Brayden Degelas played for the Legionnaires tonight in a pre season game vs the Nationals. They lost 6-5 but Degelas had 3 Goals & 1 Assist.

Hopefully that's an indication he had a good summer in the gym. I remain a big fan of his upside & look forward to seeing him at camp.
