Maybe he got released or is awaiting a trade. Vogelsburg is now with the Toronto Canadians of OJHL. Ryan Pryce is now with the Georgetown Raiders of the OJHL. Coke cooksey has had an excellent start to his season. 8 points in 10 games with the Markham Royals of the OJHL.

The writing was on the wall for him. He was outplayed all camp and preseason. I hope he get's a shot elsewhere. Another stinker of a high round pick gone to waste...shameful.

Well with lalkin gone the sting only have 1 extra forward listed on the roster and that would be Harper

Very excited for the home opener, especially after last weekend. Hopefully they don't do what they usually do & lay an egg with a decent crowd at home.
The way Saginaw will beat them is if they fall into playing their run & gun, wide open style. If they play as structured, smart as they did vs KIT&WSR they'll win comfortably imo. Good chance to show some maturity too as last yr whenever they strung together Ws they'd let it go to there head. Starting 3-0 (hopefully 4-0) would be huge with their schedule after Sunday.
Do look forward to seeing Misa (exceptional status pick) play & Hill's return. I'm sure they'll do a nice tribute for him.

Have to disagree re camp as he was hurt and never played in a single exhibition game. He was also hurt for a chunk at the end of the season. He has his faults but definitely hasn't been given enough of a chance to cast him aside. My guess is he asked out.

He played in the first pre season game vs LDN. I thought he showed some improvements in camp, but not as much as you'd hope.
Skating still looked mediocre at best. Plays soft & has some bad/lazy habits. I did think he showed more than Harper & Doherty. Wouldn't be surprised if your correct that he wants out. Barring injury I don't see him getting in the lineup.
Could just be a typo tho since he hasn't played due to an injury. We'll see Friday if he's listed as a scratch or not.

Legionnaires won 8-3 last night. Doherty 2G/1A, Degelas 1G/1A, Priddle 1G/1A.
Priddle after only 8 points the entirety of last yr has 10 already. Doherty has 3G/1A in 4 games. Degelas 7pts in 10 gp.

Dillingham is week to week & Seca had no comment on Lalkin so it would appear he's off the roster.

I hope Doherty demolishes that league this year and gets a few games with the sting. I have no problem getting kids more ice time like that. Look at Mailloux and bonk for the knights. Both of them did that and it work out well.

Enjoy the home opener for all going. Hopefully this team is for real and shows the fans exactly that. Should be good energy going into this weekend. Should pick up both wins, just gotta stick to our game. Sarnia has a history of playing down to the opponents level. Let's do er right!

Great test to see if they've grown. Last yr whenever they got a few Ws they'd lose their structure. SAG&SSM play run&gun hockey. If Sarnia plays the way they did last week they'll leave this weekend 4-0. Be a superb start to hopefully a great season. All momentum, hype will be lost if they lay a stinker with some heavy hitters (FLT, WSR, MIS) coming up.
Looking for a good weekend from Line 2. Got a week of practice together & on paper are playing "weaker" lines.
Sting need to play their hard working style of hockey and play their system each and ever game regardless of the opponent. They also need to play for 60 minutes every game too and we should have a good exciting season. They do need to improve the powerplay, I really think Ritchie needs to take mast spot.

Fully agree. I understand why Mast is on it, but it's always been clear as day Ritchie & Daviault for that matter are better QBs for a powerplay.
Exact same lines as last week except Hoover is in for MacDonald on pair 3 w/Campbell.

Get 4 in the 3rd to make it look nice. How they should've played all night. Unacceptable effort. Couldn't of looked like a team higher on themselves than they did tonight.
