The Leafs looked completely lifeless. Outworked and outplayed all night.

Domi better figure out quick what it is he does here, because right now it’s just cardio. Minten cannot flub two golden chances like he did. Knies cannot lose his man like he did on the PK. Don’t know how these jokers allowed Perry to get behind them all alone like he did on the 2nd goal but it tracks that in his lone visit here this season he scores.
Frustrating game and effort but not undeserved. Team has been shit defensively through all three games only this time Matthews and Nylander couldn’t save them. Hope Keefe bag skates the hell out of them.

Leafs barely showed up until late in the third and get a well deserved loss.
Even though we're 2-1 we've played some terrible overall hockey and our record is thanks to Matthews and Nylander playing out of their minds.
We really need to figure out the best line combinations because things definitely aren't clicking right now.
Tough 5 game road trip coming up.

Matthews and Nylander were both very good.
Tavares, Rielly, and Woll played well.
The rest were quite bad.

Knies, Minten, Domi, Lily, Samsanov, Keefe. Have provided nothing of value through 3 games.
The defence in general has been awful even by Leaf standards.

I have some concerns after three games. Namely:
- Marner, looks unfocused
- Knies, looks absolutely slow and lost out there for the majority of the time
- Domi, looks sloooooow
- Goaltending, in general
On the positive side, Matthews, Nylander, Tavares, Jarnkrok and most of the other forwards are working their asses off every shift with varying levels of success. The defence are as expected, good, bad, mysterious and hung out to dry so far by the forwards.
I feel good about the group, and feel once they all get their bearings and some more time together they will be fun to watch.

I think they need to break up that 1st line. Switch out Nylander and Marner and put Domi on Marners other wing and see if they still got that chemistry from London.
