Not really worried about London. Need to get past Erie first.

I've said before that even with the first line playing like they are, I wouldn't expect Saginaw to put up too much resistance to the Knights. I like lines 2 and 3 but they just aren't ready to stop London or produce vs London either. That series would probably be 5 games. I'd be happy to be proved wrong though.

Agreed...while Oke has been playing well as of late, we don't have the defensive chops to be able to hang with the lines that London can roll out game after game. Also, even with Cam Allen out, London still has a good defense and a good goalie that would keep our scoring down some. The one equalizer would be penalties...if we stay out of the box and London were to take penalties, that's the formula for us beating them. While last year was quite the battle, I'm with Kingpin, we'll need a strong effort just to get past Erie.

With the way the Spirit are playing do you think you could reach Windsor or is it almost mathematically impossible?

The 14 games in 28 days might be getting to them. They did not look sharp last night.

On the bright side, congrats to Michael Misa on breaking Cole Perfetti’s single season Spirit scoring record by reaching 112 pts. Will be interesting to see where he finishes at. Wherever it stops, it won’t be broken for a loooong time.

Another really rough game from us. Really after the first period against North Bay we’ve been playing meat head hockey again. The same garbage that got us our worst month of the year (December). Thought we put that behind us after how we played in January and most of February. Guo will get a couple games for the slewfoot. So down him and Epperson for the Barrie game. That should push the losing streak to 3. Hopefully we don’t sink into old habits.

Interesting question as we get closer to the end of the season:

Let's say Misa keeps it up and finishes 1st in the OHL scoring race. Gets to the high 120's or low 130's. 60 goals. Star prospect for the upcoming draft. Let's also say Zayne Parekh stays on pace. Would be the first 100 point defenseman since Ryan Ellis in 2010/11. Would also be the 1st back to back 30 goal scoring defenseman in league history IIRC. Which one does Saginaw put up for the Red Tilson? Teams only get one candidate.
