Saginaw Spirit 2024 - 25 Season Thread, Part I

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Not really worried about London. Need to get past Erie first.

I've said before that even with the first line playing like they are, I wouldn't expect Saginaw to put up too much resistance to the Knights. I like lines 2 and 3 but they just aren't ready to stop London or produce vs London either. That series would probably be 5 games. I'd be happy to be proved wrong though.

Agreed...while Oke has been playing well as of late, we don't have the defensive chops to be able to hang with the lines that London can roll out game after game. Also, even with Cam Allen out, London still has a good defense and a good goalie that would keep our scoring down some. The one equalizer would be penalties...if we stay out of the box and London were to take penalties, that's the formula for us beating them. While last year was quite the battle, I'm with Kingpin, we'll need a strong effort just to get past Erie.

With the way the Spirit are playing do you think you could reach Windsor or is it almost mathematically impossible?
