I don't know if this guy is available but I would have to think so with the emergence of OEL and guys like Runblad, Gormley, Murphy and others on their way, I wonder if the Coyotes would quietly be looking to move Yandle if they are out of the playoff picture at the deadline. I am not sure what the cost would be but I would guess it would be fairly substantial.

It's not all that quiet.

The guys on NHL Home Ice this morning more or less said that Yandle is the hands-down most likely big name to get moved first.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm sure Homer will/already has inquire(d), and everyone knows after the Weber circus how hard it'll be to pry Couturier from us. Schenn I wouldn't have hesitated building something around for Myers before we acquired his brother, now I'm not as sure. There's always packageable pieces like Simmonds, Voracek, Read, Laughton, Cousins, etc, but there's no doubt in Flyers fans' minds who the first two to always come up will be...

As for him changing his style of play, the style he's strayed from sounds exactly like what he'd be doing for Laviolette in Philly.

As much as I like some of those pieces and would love to have them on the sabres I wouldn't do it for Myers. I'd want a young forward with top line potential ie Schenn or Couturier, or a blue chip prospect ie Rielly, Granlund, Zibanejad, or someone of that ilk.

I'd like to see the Sabres move Leopold and Stafford. It doesn't exactly surprise me that Myers is bad considering he is 22, the season started at a random time, and he was coming off of an injury. Guys like Stafford and Leopold though should be leaders on this team. If you're going to make player changes it starts with them.

Who do you guys see us targeting in the off-season? I wouldn't be surprised if Pegula tried to land one of the Anaheim boys if one or both don't get re-signed, obviously though there will be a lot of competition for them and they will demand some big money.

I could see us trying to land Stephen Weiss , would give us the option of moving Ennis to the wing.

Nathan Horton - He just seems like a guy we'd try to land.

I know there are some older guys out there too, not really interested in the 35+ players. I'd have to take a look at the list for d-men but I remember it being a very thin year for ufa dmen.

To above poster, I would love to move Stafford this year and replace him with someone like Horton if Boston can't re-sign him.

Reimer leaves the game with an injury, could be bad for Toronto. Nonis was shown looking very frustrated and on his blackberry, probably texting Gillis about Luongo :sarcasm:
