That is certainly a thing but I thought Ruff said something about hoping he was ready for tomorrow. As in he’s still not 100% ready to return.
I think they were referring to keeping Laf on the 2nd line, not whether or not Tage would play.
Lower your expectations....I have in all aspects of life...you find you are pleasantly surprised more often which is nice.
Haha I think there's still something to be said about keeping a lineup together after a W on a roadie with a b2b tmrw. Maybe a little more time to get it together, watch some film, morning skates, ya know, coaching. If some trends don't turn positive, switch it up for a spark tmrw before heading back home.Yeah, eeking out a 1-goal win on the strength of the goaltending and a deflection is hard to replicate. But NHL coaches often fall into certain patterns and running out the same lineup is often that.

The aggravating thing is that everybody knew having the youngest roster and depending on kids was mind bogglingly stupid and all but assured to fail. The team desperately needed some quality vets and Adams pulled a Carlos Beltran in game 7 of the 2006 NLCS.
