Ugh, that Lafferty on Cozens wing thing continues. Bleh.

Jokiharju getting another game... double bleh.

I'm preparing for Cozens to be my whipping boy tonight. It's usually Tuch, but I need to spread the wealth around. It's not healthy to hyperfocus on one flawed player who is at least producing.

I have high hopes for the Kulich line. It would be great if that line finds the back of the net. I'm all in favor getting Quinn away from Cozens.

They seemed to have something against the Kings. It would be cool to get more unexpected offense out of the current found parts line.

I don't understand what Lafferty is doing there? Give Rosen a chance.

They didn't have much ice time against LA, hopefully they get more time today.

Last season between Nov 11 and Dec 5 we went 3-8-1 after starting the year at about .500, and that was too big of a hole to climb out of.

If we can avoid big slumps like that from here, we should stay in the mix (although we did start this season 4-7-1).

Seems like coaching orthodoxy to stick with a lineup after a winning game. Put me in the "let's be a little proactive in spite of our success" camp.

Yeah, eeking out a 1-goal win on the strength of the goaltending and a deflection is hard to replicate. But NHL coaches often fall into certain patterns and running out the same lineup is often that.

I hope my criticism of Lafferty sees him pop one tonight and that line score multiple goals. It used to work with Vanek… 🤣

I'll have to go to bed and get up at 6am to watch the game.
6am isn't too bad. I've done that a few times. 4pm here so I'll be on the way back from my daughter's dance rehearsal. I can listen to some the drive back, walk in the door, grab a beer, or coffee, or both, and watch the remainder of the game.

This beer is the best. I think I've convinced myself it's beer for the game.

Happy they're starting Gibson. Dostal has been solid so far.

Looking forward to Reimer's welcome back highlight reel. Keeping a good supply of tissues handy.
