its not just making a mistake its putting in actual offense....you should not be looking for your 20th shot on net in the 3rd period best way to win is actually playing in your opponents end of course the mistake is bound to happen when you aren't doing anything to actually win the game.

Now the shoulders slumped. The confidence is zero. And there's no come back belief or leadership.

Capitals broadcast says capitals dominating. Eye test says lots more time with Sabres in defensive zone

That surge didn't lead to any real opportunity though. They haven't forced Thompson to make any big saves.
